Did you know that co-ops have been part of Maynardโ€™s story for generations? ๐Ÿ˜๏ธโœจ

These historic photos capture a tradition that dates back to 1875, when the Riverside Co-operative Association was founded to provide affordable groceries and essential goods to local families.

In 1907, Finnish immigrants established the Kaleva Co-operative Association, which later became the United Co-operative Societyโ€”one of the largest co-ops in the country at its peak, serving thousands of members and offering everything from groceries and baked goods to fuel, appliances, and community programs.

From generations of mill workers to today's community owners, Maynard's cooperative spirit has endured. We're proud to be part of this remarkable legacy and help carry it forward for future generations. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

This week's produce specials are so good they got us thinking...๐Ÿท

Organic strawberries for only $3.99/package and organic red cherries for only $5.99/lb! Sounds to us like the perfect opportunity to make a delicious summer sangria๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’

-1 bottle of Hardwick Vineyard & Winery Strawberry Fields Wine
-1 cup of fresh organic strawberries, sliced
-1 cup of fresh cherries, pitted and halved
-1 orange, thinly sliced
-1/2 lemon, thinly sliced
-1/2 cup white grape juice
-2 cups of Polar Beverage Black Cherry Seltzer Water
-Ice
-Fresh mint for garnish

Refrigerate the fruit, wine, and grape juice together for at least 4 hours. Add ice, seltzer water, and mint right before servingโœจ
