Jill and I are taking the boat out this afternoon for a little R & R . We're packing just a few things , fresh bread from Clear Flour Bakery in Allston , several cheeses from the Concord Cheese Shop and an adult slushie . It is after all Rose season .
This is how you make it . Very easy >
1 Bottle of a good Rose such as Pannonica , dark in color ( for a rose ) 100% Pinot Noir .
1/3 cup of simple syrup
1oz Aperol
1 oz fresh lemon juice .
pour the rose into a 13x9 baking sheet and place in freezer for about 6 hours .
When it is almost solid scrape into a blender and add all remaining ingredients with about 3/4 cup of ice . Puree until thickened . That's it .
