🌞🥣 Hello, November! Let’s give tomorrow morning a little head start.

A few minutes of preparation tonight means breakfast is waiting when the Monday rush begins. Try this simple overnight oats base:

For one serving:
• ½ cup rolled oats
• ½ cup milk of your choice
• ¼ cup plain yoghurt

Mix in a jar or container, cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, stir and add a splash of milk if needed, then finish with banana, berries or your favourite fruit. 🍌🫐

Fancy a little crunch? Add a sprinkle of nuts or seeds just before eating.

Pop into SPAR Nottingham Road for your breakfast essentials and make one thing on tomorrow’s list a little easier. 💚🛒

❤️ Giving Back to Our Notties Community! ❤️

On Thursday evening, at our annual Taste Fest, we were absolutely thrilled to raise an incredible R30 000 for our wonderful Notties community!

We are delighted to share how these funds will be distributed:

🏫 R10 000 to Nottingham Road Primary School

🏫 R10 000 to Shea O’Connor Combined School

Both of our fantastic government schools are working hard to grow and develop their sports programmes, and we are so pleased to be able to contribute towards their efforts. We look forward to seeing these programmes flourish and watching the learners enjoy the opportunities sport brings!

❤️ R10 000 to Love Notties

Love Notties does so much for our village, particularly in keeping our little town clean, beautiful and welcoming. We are incredibly grateful for all the time, effort and love they put into our community.

A huge THANK YOU to all our amazing suppliers, vendors and sponsors who helped make this possible. Your generosity and support mean so much, and without you, none of this would have been possible.

In particular we’d like to thank Notties Hotel for their hospitality and venue.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who attended our annual Tops at Spar Taste Fest and supported the evening.

This is what community is all about – coming together, supporting one another and making a difference.

Here’s to a stronger, happier and thriving Notties! ❤️

🍫🥄 Bringing dessert? These little cups could be your answer!

Give a South African favourite an individual twist with Peppermint Crisp dessert cups—creamy, crunchy and made for sharing. No oven needed! 💚

You’ll need:
• 250 ml whipping cream, chilled
• 1 tin caramel treat, approximately 360 g
• 150 g coconut biscuits, crushed
• 1 Peppermint Crisp chocolate bar, approximately 49 g, chopped

Whip the cream until it holds soft peaks. Stir the caramel until smooth, then gently fold it into the cream.

Layer the biscuit crumbs, caramel cream and chopped chocolate into 6 small glasses. Finish with a little chocolate on top, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. 😋

Pick up your ingredients at SPAR Nottingham Road and save this idea for your next get-together! 🛒
