Customers, just a heads up that we we not be at the Saturday, June 8th market times. Rain precludes picking veggies, Deannie is busy with other business so no bread, and Lawrence is simply out of veggies. I will be back on Wednesday with peas, onions, some beets, lavender, and other goodies that I will find in my garden! See you then.

Dear Fellow Farmer,

Please release this to your vendors….its important we ban together now!

NC Department of Agricultural is trying to abolish herd-shares for Raw Milk here in North Carolina. The NC General Assembly just made it legal 4 months ago when they passed a Farm Bill allowing sales of Herd-Shares in NC. Small dairy farms have not even had a chance to implement this valuable option! Big Agriculture and Big Box business is trying to eliminate the small farmer. I look forward to the day when food rights are taken as seriously as our other civil liberties.

Please join us for news and updates to this and other issues that involve small farmers and consumer food rights. Here is a place for you to voice your opinion. Please click the link below and like, follow, and comment on our new page.
