Our final farm stand weekend for the season is here, and we've done our best to stock lots of Honey Oat and Honey Wheat Sourdough, customer favorite Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies, and a seasonal treat, Apple Walnut Pies. My daughter and I had so much fun running the Mingle Jingle 5K benefit race this past weekend. (Yes, I wore an apron that says will run for cookies!)
Anyways, Corinne was the number one finisher of the 126 participants, and in addition to gift cards, she also won a Tollhouse Cookie Pie. It was amazing, almost as amazing as Corinne's run!
So....I'm comparing recipes and considering making some for the weekend. What do you think? They're expensive to make (lots of chocolate and butter) so probably $18/pie, but would they sell? Thoughts?
