Apparently the Passage Keeper isn’t the only creature with opinions around here. 🐇🐈

In honor of National Cat Day, a little acknowledgment for the four very important feline supervisors waiting at home.

They specialize in:
- sitting directly on whatever I’m trying to work on
- inspecting every box that enters the house
- appearing the second ribbon or tissue paper comes out
- offering absolutely no useful business advice

Still, every good curiosity shop probably needs a few cats somewhere in the story.

What is The Sunday Letter Project? ✉️

It’s a worldwide invitation to bring back the joy of handwritten letters, one letter at a time. The idea is simple: set aside a little time each Sunday to write to someone, and become part of a growing community of pen pals around the world.

Letter Keeper shops like The Peddler’s Passage help make it possible. We receive and hold letters so you can connect with a pen pal without sharing your home address.

A little letter-writing magic is coming to The Passage! ✉️

We’re officially Letter Keepers for The Sunday Letter Project—a worldwide pen-pal project that helps people connect through handwritten letters. You can sign up with us and write to a pen pal without sharing your home address; we’ll help keep your letters safe along the way.

We’re new to the project, so we’re still waiting for our very first introduction letters to arrive. While we wait for those first pen-pal possibilities, you’re welcome to come in, sign up, and send off an introduction letter of your own.

A limited number of Halloween treasure bags are being prepared for Halloween in the Passage—but their contents must remain tucked safely beneath the ribbon for now.

You’ll have to follow the White Rabbit on October 31 to discover what’s waiting inside…

We assume.

The magenta-and-black umbrella covered in skulls? Strictly for rainy days.

Obviously.
