We were just informed this afternoon that the Rillito Park Farmers Market parking lot will be shared with attendees of the Boots in the Park music festival tomorrow, Sunday, October 18. Festival parking will begin around 10AM, with festival gates opening at 12PM.

Please note the following important parking and traffic information:
🚗 FREE PARKING FOR MARKET CUSTOMERS: Festival attendees will be charged for parking beginning around 10 AM. Farmers market customers should inform parking attendants that they are visiting the farmers market to avoid being charged.
⏰ ARRIVE EARLY: We strongly encourage customers to arrive earlier than usual to avoid potential traffic congestion and parking delays.
➡️ ENTRANCE: All vehicles must enter the park from First Avenue, northbound only.
⬅️ EXIT: All vehicles must exit the park onto River Road.
🕐 MARKET HOURS: While our regular market hours are 9 AM–1 PM, vendors will begin wrapping up earlier than usual to help accommodate the anticipated increase in traffic and congestion. We encourage everyone to shop early for the best market experience!

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate the shared parking arrangements. Thank you for supporting our local farmers and vendors!

Join us on Sunday, October 4th at the Rillito Park Farmers Market for a unique performance by 🎶 Meet a fully functioning concert hall on wheels as it rolls into the market to bring live, world-class music straight to the community.

The Concert Truck is exactly what it sounds like: a 16-foot box truck outfitted with professional lights, a sound system, and a piano, ready to perform anywhere a truck can park. Led by Artistic Director Susan Zhang, the project was built on a simple but powerful idea: live music should be for everyone. The Concert Truck takes that idea seriously, showing up on city streets, in parks, at schools, and in neighborhoods to deliver thoughtful, high-quality concerts to audiences who might never set foot in a traditional concert hall.

The Concert Truck has partnered with some of the most respected music institutions in the country, including the Kennedy Center’s Washington National Opera, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and the Aspen Music Festival. It has featured celebrated guest artists along the way. It has brought live performances to more than 55,000 students across North Carolina alone. Now, Susan Zhang and the truck are coming to Tucson, ready to park and perform across the city.
