Enter Your Renaissance Era, Pueblo. 🌞

On Friday, June 12, we're bringing A Taste of Pueblo Farmers Market to the grand opening of the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of North America & STEAM Center.

Inspired by the great marketplaces of the Renaissance, our market will feature a small sampling of the local farmers, bakers, food artisans, and makers offering handcrafted foods and unique products that celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurial spirit of our community.

As visitors from across the country and around the world gather in Pueblo for this historic occasion, we're proud to showcase the people who help make our city such a special place to call home.

Because for centuries, marketplaces have been more than places to shop, they've been places where communities gather, stories are shared, and connections are made.

Join us as we celebrate innovation, local flavor, and the community we're proud to cultivate together.

Bet you didn't know you could score one-of-a-kind tie-dyed creations at market on Saturdays. 🌈 Well, now you know.

Meet Dana, owner and designer behind 3rd Eye Dyes, where every piece is hand-dyed right here in Pueblo and no two creations are exactly alike. From wearable art to colorful home dΓ©cor (even shower curtains!), his work is all about creativity, self-expression, and bringing a little more color into the world.

One of our favorite things about Pueblo Farmers Market is the opportunity to discover talented local makers like Dana. You might come for the fresh produce and baked goods, but you'll leave inspired by the incredible artists and entrepreneurs who make our community so special.

Be sure to give 3rd Eye Dyes a follow to stay up to date on his new product drops, and how to order custom items. Locally Crafted. Pueblo Proud. πŸ’š

You probably noticed we had several rockstars joining us at market this morning. 🀩

Today's Children's Entrepreneur Market brought more than 30 young business owners to Pueblo Farmers Market, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park!

These kids spent the morning pitching products, making sales, talking with customers, and showing off their creativity. Watching them gain confidence with every conversation was something special.

The entrepreneurial spirit was alive and well at market today, and we're grateful to everyone who helped make these young vendor sprouts feel welcomed and supported.

Give these kids a round of applause in the comments. πŸ‘πŸ’š

In a world that can feel increasingly disconnected, your local farmers market remains one of the few places where strangers become neighbors.

Where farmers know their customers by name. Where children learn where food comes from. Where conversations happen face-to-face instead of through screens.

Every market day is a reminder that community isn't something we find. It's something we build together.

And that's exactly what we're cultivating here in Pueblo. 🌱🀝

🌱 Vendor Spotlight: Quarter Acre And A Mule 🌱

At Pueblo Farmers Market, we're proud to be home to farmers who do more than grow food, they help cultivate community.

This week, we're spotlighting Perdita Butler of Quarter Acre and a Mule urban micro-farm, a longtime Pueblo Farmers Market vendor whose work is rooted in the belief that access to healthy food is a basic human need and a form of medicine.

As an experienced urban agriculturalist and farmer, Perdita has dedicated her career to building stronger, healthier communities through local food systems. Through Quarter Acre and a Mule and her many community partnerships, she is helping feed families, support small farmers, strengthen Pueblo's local economy, and create a more resilient community, one quarter acre at a time.

Perdita is certified in Agroecology, a holistic approach to farming that works with nature to create sustainable food systems. Her farming practices focus on enhancing biodiversity, improving soil health, supporting pollinators, and growing food in ways that benefit both people and the planet.

What inspires us most about Perdita's work is her belief that meaningful change doesn't always start on a large scale. Sometimes it starts with a seed, a garden, a conversation, or a quarter acre of land. Her mission is a powerful reminder that small, determined efforts can create lasting impact throughout an entire community.

πŸ“ Perdita will be joining us this Saturday at our Eastside Market, and we encourage you to stop by her booth, learn more about her farm, and support a grower who is making a real difference here in Pueblo.

Because Quarter Acre And A Mule joins us on a part-time basis throughout the season, be sure to follow Perdita's social media pages to stay up to date on where she'll be, what she's harvesting, and the incredible work she's doing throughout our community.
