Capo Caccia Fine Food Capo Caccia Fine Food specialises in organic pecorino cheese, goat and cow's milk cheese, gluten and

Capo Caccia was started in 2012 to bring founder (and native Sardinian) Antonio's love of traditional Sardinian food to his adopted home of London. We’re passionate about the amazing food that comes from Sardinia and it’s a pleasure to be able to share our passion with you and work with small, artisan producers to bring a taste of Sardinia to London. We regularly travel throughout Sardinia meeting

cheese producers, butchers and farmers and sourcing the finest regional staples to bring a unique range of products back to London. We sell the highest quality Pecorino cheese, Ricotta Mustia (a smoked dried Ricotta) alongside Pane Carasau, a traditional Sardinian flatbread, and many more unique cheeses. We also sell our popular range of gluten and lactose-free salami seasoned with fennel, myrtle leaves and sun dried chilli and marinated in red and white wine. Another hit with meat lovers is Mustela a traditional southern Sardinia cured pork loin, and Bottarga, a wonderful fish roe known as Sardinian caviar that can be added to pasta or shaved directly on to vegetables as a starter. Another tasty delight is Malloredus gnocchi, tiny dumplings with an elongated, elegant conch shape and Fregola, semolina dough that has been rolled into fine balls and toasted in an oven. Capo Caccia's online shop is the well stocked with all products available for home delivery. In person, you’ll find us across London at the finest food markets and you can also find our charcuterie and cheese at restaurants and food shops in the city.

Saffron harvest in Sardinia!
The Sardinian Saffron is a small, delicate flower that blooms in November. Hand picked and organically grown it is slowly dried at low temperatures to maintain its fragrance over time.
We received a new batch of Saffron and other herbs and spices from Sardinia with a brand new wild fennel fronds, the myrtle berries in 100g bags and the herb sea salt with Sardinian spices, including myrtle, coriander, wild fennel, oregano, bay leaf.

Visit our online shop to see the full range. Link in bio.

Our herbs and spices contain no preservatives or colorants and they are the perfect ingredients to flavour meats, for seasoning fish, stew and salads. They are used in pasta, risotto and roasted chicken. The Myrtle berries are also used for making the traditional myrtle liqueur "Mirto".

All the products are available wholesale & retail.

On Thursday we had a stroll around the beautiful Slad and went to somewhere we'd been wanting to visit for ages - part of the Juliet family. cooked us amazing food from the mussels in cider to the cooked to perfection onglet! Thanks so much! And thanks to .chadwick all the Juliet staff and the lovely people we met for a fab visit and event. Back for more food, art and nature very soon!

We can’t believe this time has actually arrived but after 12 brilliant years at the fab it’s time for one last amazing display of Sardinian cheese, salami and Sardinian artisan delights, and it’s time to say ciao to this most excellent of London markets.

Capo Caccia joined the market started by Karen, Rachel and Laura in 2012 and we loved being part of this local, vibrant food community and bringing our love of Sardinia to the foodies and locals of Crystal Palace.

We’ve met brilliant friends and colleagues along the way, working with Francesco, Eddie, Amy, and now with Marco and James. Some of our regular customers have stayed with us over many years, also buying our cheese online and coming along to our brilliant chef-led pop-ups around London.

We’ve absolutely loved being part of the market, in fact it’s the only one we’ve stayed to so long with, so it’s with fondness, gratitude and warmth we finally say ciao to all our brilliant customers and friends.

Our last market will be Saturday 20th December: come say goodbye and Merry Christmas!

All our Sardinian treats are available on https://capocaccia.co.uk/ and look out for our pop-ups around London.

Mille grazie 🙏🏽
Ciao a tutti!
It’s been a blast!

A throwback to last week to thank everyone who came to the amazing sold-out Sardinian pop-up at .london last Sunday!

The menu was created by the inimitable using the finest Sardinian ingredients sourced by Capo Caccia. Amazing food inspired by traditional Sardinian methods and craft including mouth watering dishes such as "burrida" ray fish served in a rich tomato, honey and vinegar sauce, ‘quaglie al mirto’ and wood-grilled milk fed lamb served with delicious artichoke sformato.

The vibe was warm, the people were happy and we were delighted that Capo Caccia’s ingredients and Peppe’s brilliant culinary magic brought the beautiful, artisan flavours of our beloved Sardina to East London.

It was great to be part of The Leo’s team and to see how they deliver truly excellent service.

Thanks a lot to our friends, the New Forest Gang and all our guests who came to the event!

Ciao a tutti and see you next time. ###
