Alba Cheese is the proud manufacturer of the finest quality, award winning, traditional Italian dairy cheeses. The company was established in 1982, when brothers Mario and Gaetano opened their first factory in Melbourne. The brothers grew up in a small dairy farming village Sortino, Italy where they learned the traditional secrets for making the finest dairy cheeses. With this expertise, and from humble beginnings with only a handful of employees, Alba Cheese has expanded rapidly, and is now a leading supplier to the retail and export markets.
“Alba” is Italian for “Dawn”, perfect to describe the freshness and naturalness of the company’s delicious range of cheeses.
