🥩 WE’VE DONE IT! QUEENSLAND’S BEST BEEF BURGERS! 🥩🏆

Last night, Rossco and Brett headed down to the Gold Coast for the Australian Meat Industry Council Awards Night, and we’re incredibly proud to announce that Arana Tender Cut Meats has taken home Queensland’s Best Beef Burger!🎉

Our Angus Beef Burger was awarded Best Beef Burger in Queensland, and to top it off, we also took home a Gold Medal for our Steak & Ironbark Honey Beef Sausages! 🥇

So we can officially say it… we sell the best beef burgers in Queensland! 🍔🏆

Rumour has it the boys celebrated the victory together, and they both had sore heads this morning! 😂🍻

Don’t forget — Saturday, 29th August, our award-winning Ekka Show Beef will be on display at Arana Tender Cuts Meats!

This is your chance to get your hands on a slice of some of the best beef in Queensland! 🥩🔥

The beef has now been processed, vacuum sealed and is ageing at a controlled 2°C, allowing it to develop maximum tenderness and incredible flavour before the big day.

Every year, Rossco heads to the Ekka to buy some of Queensland’s finest show beef. The cattle are sold at auction and then judged on the quality of the carcass — and we’re proud to bring that award-winning quality straight to our customers.

ARANA TENDER CUT MEATS – AWARD-WINNING BUTCHER SHOP! 🏆

It’s getting to that time of year again, everyone!

Last year, we were incredibly proud to take home 1st place for the Best Traditional Pork Sausage in Queensland! 🥇🐷 It’s been a huge honour being able to say that we make an award-winning Queensland pork sausage.

On 12 September, Rossco and the team will be heading to the Australian Meat Industry Awards Night to defend our title — and we’re confident we can bring home some more GOLD! 🏆

This year’s sausage entries are:

🥩🏆 IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN, LADIES & GENTLEMEN! 🏆🥩

I hope you’re ready for it — award-winning Ekka Show Beef is coming back to Arana Tender Cut Meats!

Thanks to our good friends at Nolan’s Meats, we’ve secured two absolutely amazing bodies of beef from this year’s Ekka, including one from the Reserve Champion Junior Led Steer! 🏆🐂

Now the ageing begins. We’ll be giving this beautiful beef around 3 weeks to age before breaking it down and putting it on display.

A huge congratulations to our apprentice Will, who competed in the Apprentice of the Year competition again this year.

Will has come a long way, and we’re incredibly proud of the effort he put in.

During the competition, competitors are required to break down a full side of lamb, a pork side, and a chicken within a strict time limit. They must maximise every cut with minimal waste and create a professional retail display showcasing their skills.

It’s a tough competition that tests speed, precision, product knowledge, and presentation, and Will represented Arana Tender Cut Meats exceptionally well.

Well done, mate. We’re proud of how far you’ve come, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next! 👏🔪

Arana Tender Cut Meats is looking for a Junior Team Member to join our team for weekend work.

No experience is required – we are happy to train the right person!

The role will include:
✅ Serving customers
✅ Cleaning and maintaining the shop
✅ Making sausages and other products
✅ General shop duties

We are looking for someone who is:
✔ Well presented
✔ Friendly and reliable
✔ Willing to learn
✔ Able to work well in a team
✔ Keen to get stuck in and have a go

This is a great opportunity for a young person looking for their first job and wanting to learn new skills in a fun and friendly environment.

We sold a huge amount of Whole Nolan’s Private Selection Rib Fillets today and completely sold out this afternoon.

The good news is we have more arriving tomorrow. This will be the last lot Rossco could source for you at the special price of just $29.99kg.

These are premium quality rib fillets that normally sell for a lot more, so this is a special you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re looking to cut your own steaks or have one of our friendly team slice it for you, we’ve got you covered.

If you missed out today, make sure you get in early tomorrow because once these are gone, they’re gone!

Available in-store and online while stocks last. If you can’t make it in, place a click-and-collect order on our website and we’ll put one aside for you. Just let us know your preferred pick-up day in the notes.
