Hi all,
It’s Michelle here, just wanted to give you an update on how things are going.
I had a surgery done on the 22nd September which was supposed to be surgery-home and recover for 6 weeks-return to work after 6 weeks. Simple.
Well unfortunately I have had a reaction to this that although is not unheard of, it is very unusual.
I ended up back in hospital on the 30th and I must say the staff at Caboolture Hospital were amazing. From the ER staff to all on the ward, they got the pain well under control while also having a plan B in place.
I came home on Sunday and I am doing much much better. The medication regime is helping immensely, however a second surgery to remove the particular stitch that is causing the issue is still on the table. It won’t undo the entire procedure just one component. I see the Dr on Thursday so we will discuss what is going to be best for my particular case.

Thank you all for your well wishes, Antonio has been passing them all on to me.

I am doing absolutely EXACTLY what I have been told to do. Now I’m not sure if that 6 week post op return to work is still achievable or will just be a wait and see.

Again thank you for your well wishes, I am yet again really touched by all of them.
I will try to keep you updated with any new developments and with my recovery.

Hi all,

Just a heads up for today, Antonio is manning the shop on his own as some of us are not well. Please be patient today he is seriously under the pump and was up helping me most of the night but he will do his absolute best.

All our Filo’s, creamy Beef and Bacon Parcels, our Jumbo Sausage Rolls and our Pies including Michelle’s Creamy Chicken and Bacon Pies. Just pop them in the oven (or Air Fryer) and you have a delicious hot meal.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

After much consideration, we have made the decision to close on Sundays.

Our last Sunday of trading will be Sunday, 12th July 2026, with our new trading hours commencing from Sunday, 19th July 2026.

This change will allow our hardworking team to enjoy a well-earned day of rest and spend more time with their families after serving our wonderful customers throughout the week.

Hi all,

Michelle here and I just wanted to let you know what’s been happening and how it may effect us.
Last Tuesday I was very clever and slipped over out the back bellyflopping hard onto the floor. I have broken a few ribs, torn cartilage in the ribcage and somehow done my rotator cuff. Yep! When I do something I do it well.
Obviously I can’t do much at present and am working from home.
What this means is that there are some items that Antonio and the team may not get out. It will be mainly all the pastry items as well as the salads. I am giving directions on how I do them but apart from time constraints there is also trying to train new staff members which can make it a little tricky to get these things done.
We are hoping to get these things done however your patience and understanding is much appreciated.

Hopefully I’ll be back on board soon but it will be a couple of weeks at least.

Thank you for all the well wishes that have been relayed to me diligently by Antonio. I really do appreciate it and am feeling the love. 🥰
