🎉Tomorrow (Friday 10/16) is a very SPECIAL day at Collage!!! It’s Jude’s 9th Birthday!!!! To celebrate the big guy we will be giving out some Sweet Treats in honor of our Birthday Boy! And Jude will be at the store to Pawty with you from 10-2! 🐾 birthday 🎉 🎂

🐶 Each year on Jude’s Birthday I like to tell Jude’s story in hopes that it will inspire people to adopt animals instead of shopping for them. Jude was a rescue. Jude was dropped off as a puppy at the Emergency Animal Hospital to be put to sleep, by a back yard breeder. Jude was having horrible seizures and they were told he was blind. So Jude was worth nothing to that awful person. Well, one of the angels who worked at the ER decided Jude was worth saving. Her name is Kristie. She took him home for a month and nursed him back to health. With some TLC he made a miraculous recovery and then Kristie looked for someone to adopt him. She looked for someone who could be with him all day since he was having seizures. Because I could take him to work with me I was the lucky person who got to adopt Jude. Since then Jude has never had a seizure and his sight came back. Jude has brought to much joy to our community. Each day he must have about 20 people that come into the store just to give him love. From the homeless, to children, to college kids, and seniors… Jude comforts people during hard times, he snuggles with children who are often afraid of dogs, he sits with people who have disabilities and lets them talk to him, he lays on the floor with homeless who just need a little love. St. Jude is the patron saint of the hope and impossible causes. And to me,he has been just that. Jude, you are loved by so many and you have brought so much joy to our world. Happy 9th Birthday dear Jude!💙🎂🎉 We love you!
