Yoder’s newest cookies are our sample this week - and they’re one of my personal favorites! They remind me of the ones my grandma made and they’re hard to describe because they’re not your normal sugar cookie. They’re a little bit more cakey than you’d expect, but in the best way.

If you’re thinking about doing a little baking this week, Amish Cinnamon Flop Cake is an easy one! It uses basic ingredients that you can find in-store when you stop by later this week and it makes the house smell amazing!

Cake:
• 2 cups flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 cup milk
• 2 tbsp butter, melted

Mix together and pour into a greased 9x9 or 9x13 baking dish.

Topping:
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 2 tbsp butter, softened

Drop spoonfuls over the batter and gently swirl with a butter knife. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.

You can grab flour, cinnamon, brown sugar, and other baking staples here in the store later this week!
