Summer produce season is in FULL swing at Andy’s Garden Center 🍉🍅🌽

The Farm Market is looking beautiful right now with fresh Alabama-grown favorites arriving daily. We’ve got juicy watermelon (including seeded, seedless, and even yellow-meat varieties), homegrown tomatoes, fresh shelled peas and butter beans, blackberries, blueberries, rattlesnake beans, and so much more.

Don’t forget — if a whole watermelon is too much, we also have halves, quarters, and fresh cubed watermelon in the cooler ready to grab and go. Perfect for these hot Alabama afternoons ☀️

There’s just something about summer produce that makes supper taste better.

You can still find all your Southern favorites — fresh produce, tomatoes, peas, butter beans, watermelon, casseroles, local goods, and more — now all together with the garden center, flowers, gift shop, butterfly house, gem mine, and Rock Shop.

And don’t worry — our Hoover location is still open too and stocked with many of the same favorites for our customers on that side of town. 🌽🍅

We’ve got several kinds of watermelon in stock right now — including seedless varieties, a beautiful yellow-fleshed seedless watermelon 💛, AND traditional seeded watermelon for the folks who still love the old-fashioned kind.

And if a whole watermelon feels like too much, we’ve got plenty of options ready to go in our refrigerated section too! Grab a half melon, quarter melon, or fresh cubed watermelon for an easy summer treat. Perfect for cookouts, pool days, porch sitting, or cooling off after working in the yard. ☀️

🦋 The Butterfly House is BUSY right now… and we mean BUSY. 🐛

Join us Saturday, June 6th for Our Next Butterfly Release at Andy’s Garden Center! 🦋

Our milkweed is absolutely covered in Monarch caterpillars, and everywhere you look there’s another stage of the butterfly life cycle beginning to unfold. Tiny caterpillars are munching away, butterflies are fluttering through the garden, and it’s such an exciting time to watch nature at work. 🌿✨

If you’ve never seen Monarch caterpillars up close before, now is the time. The Butterfly House changes a little more every day this time of year.

Whether you’ve visited before or this is your first release, this weekend is going to be extra special. 🦋
