🛒 Working Toward Eliminating Alabama’s State Grocery Tax!

Today, AGA President & CEO Ellie Taylor joined Alabama House and Senate leaders at AGA member Star Supermarket in Huntsville to discuss eliminating the remaining 2% state grocery tax.

Ellie opened the press conference, followed by remarks from House Speaker Nathaniel Ledbetter, Senate President Pro Tem Garlan Gudger, Rep. Rex Reynolds, Sen. Sam Givhan, Rep. Phillip Rigsby, Rep. James Lomax and State Senate District 2 GOP nominee John Roberts.

💙 As the voice of Alabama’s grocery industry, AGA is proud to be part of this important conversation focused on providing savings for Alabama families while protecting education funding. Thank you to Star Supermarket for hosting!
