New at the stand… now offering SLICED sourdough!

I just put out two fresh loaves, sliced and ready to eat. If you live close by and want bread for supper tonight, come grab one while they’re still fresh.

I’ll have four more loaves going out in the cooler tomorrow, and then I’ll be back baking on Wednesday to get ready for the weekend.

Also, our egg sale is running through Memorial Day ❤️🤍💙 farm fresh eggs are $4 a dozen while they last.

Thank y’all for always supporting my little stand. 🍞🥚🤍

Y’all come see how sweet our little stand is looking 🤍

We’ve been working on it a little at a time, trying to make it feel cozier and keep everything a little more protected from the highway dust and summer heat. We boarded some of it in, and we’re still not done, but it already feels so much better. We’re going to add shelves and keep fixing it up as we go, so y’all stay tuned.

Right now there are 3 loaves of sourdough left and 1 banana bread left. They were baked the evening of 5/17, and I don’t like leaving baked goods out too long because I want everything to be fresh when y’all get it. So if you’ve been wanting bread, come grab one and have it with supper tonight.

I’ll be baking cookies this afternoon and adding those back to the stand too, with more goodies coming toward the weekend.

I just restocked the egg cooler, and I put out fresh bags of Little Paws dog cookies too.

Also, just so y’all know, if the cooler ever looks empty, please don’t think we’re out. Most of the time I keep extra eggs inside so they stay fresh and don’t sit outside too long. I never want anybody making a wasted trip, so if you stop by and don’t see what you came for, just message me.

There are QR codes down at the stand, and I’m working on getting that a little more organized. One of them will take you straight to our page. Just open your phone camera, hold it over the QR code like you’re about to take a picture, and a little link should pop up. Tap that, and it’ll bring you to the page where you can message me.

I really want this to be easy for y’all. If you’re coming for eggs, bread, cookies, or dog treats and don’t see what you need, just holler at me. I’ll do my best to help.

Thank y’all for loving our little stand and for stopping by, sharing our posts, and supporting us the way you do. It means more than you know.

Just put a couple bags of something new out at the stand today…

White Chocolate Lemon Oat Clusters 🍋🤍

Fair warning ⚠️ they are way too good. They’re soft, sweet, lemony, a little sticky, and absolutely worth it. I’m calling them “clusters” because they’re not your regular no-bake cookie, but goodness… they turned out so good.

I also have a couple loaves of sourdough out, with more baking today. If you want a loaf held back, just send me a message and I’ll put your name on one. Baked goods do go quick, so I can’t always guarantee what will still be there unless you message me first.

Plenty of eggs at the stand today, too. 🥚

And we’ve got a little farm update… we added guineas yesterday, and now we’re looking at quail, so we’re slowly but surely adding more around here. Y’all may just have to keep checking in to see what shows up next. ❤️

Our little stand is easy to get to if you’re headed between Toccoa and South Carolina.

Open 24/7
Self-serve honor system

And if you love our little stand, please share it with your friends and family. We appreciate every single one of you who stops by, shares a post, tells a friend, or leaves a kind word. It means more than you know.

Cold Mountain Farm Stand update 🤎

We’re going to slowly start adding a few things back to the stand as we get going again.

Today I’ll have some sourdough bread out there, but it will probably go pretty quick. If you want a loaf held for you or baked for you this week, just send me a message and I’ll be glad to make one and set it back.

Thank y’all for being patient with us while we get everything back up and running. 🤍

Cold Mountain Farm Stand update 🤎

We made a lot of progress in the kitchen last week, and I’m so thankful. My son, husband, and daughter-in-law have worked so, so hard helping get this kitchen closer to being done, and it means more than I can say.

We also got a bigger oven delivered yesterday, and I cannot wait to get it installed and get back to cooking for our family and baking for the farm stand.

Slowly but surely, it’s coming together. Thank y’all for being patient with us while we get everything back up and running. I’m excited for all the good things that will be coming out of this kitchen soon. 🤍

Hey y’all, just a little Cold Mountain Farm Stand update 🌱

I know some of y’all may be stopping by looking for sourdough, banana bread, cookies, and all the other baked goodies, so I wanted to give a quick reminder that our kitchen is still in the middle of a remodel. That means the baked goods are taking a little break this week.

This old farmhouse has been standing since 1870, and we feel pretty blessed to be part of her story now. She needs plenty of work, but we don’t want to take away the charm that made us fall in love with her in the first place. We’re just trying to love her back to life, keep the old bones, the history, and the character, while making the kitchen work for our family and this little farm stand adventure.

We sure do miss baking for y’all, and we’ll let you know just as soon as the kitchen is back together and the bread is coming out of the oven again. Until then, we still have fresh eggs and plants down at the stand like usual. 🥚🌿

And speaking of eggs and chickens 🐓🥚 my dad is a big reason we even got started with our little flock. He helped us build our chicken coop, and a lot of our chickens were hatched right from eggs in his incubator.

He has another group of chicks he’s been hatching and raising, and they’re almost five weeks old now. He’ll be bringing them up this way soon, and this next group will be available for anyone interested! We won’t be keeping these. My dad loves his Brahmas, so I’m sure there will be some Brahma or Brahma-mix babies in the bunch. I’ll try to get some pictures and more details soon, but if you’ve been thinking about starting a little backyard flock or adding to yours, send us a message and let us know.

We’re also feeling thankful for this good rain. We were able to get a small garden planted right before it came through, and we’re hoping that means we’ll have some fresh veggies to share with y’all this summer. That’s something we’re really looking forward to.

Y’all let us know in the comments what you’d like to see more of at the stand this summer 👩‍🌾 veggies, herbs, flowers, baked goods, eggs, plants, or whatever comes to mind.

And as always, thank y’all for loving on our little stand, stopping by, sharing our posts, and telling your friends and family about us. It means the world to us. 🌧️🌱

Today’s lineup at the stand:

Just a heads-up that after today, things will be slowing down around here while we work on our kitchen remodel. Bread and baked goods will be limited for a little while.

Come get some while it’s here, and I’ll let y’all know as soon as I’m baking again.

The stand is open 24/7, self-serve, and honor system. There’s a cash box for cash, Venmo and Cash App QR codes, and a QR code to follow our page too.
