We welcomed twins to the farm yesterday, and let me tell you how CUTE they are!

These are the moments of joy that our farm brings us. We appreciate your continued support; every like, comment, review, purchase, tshirt worn, share, recommendation, and encouraging text mean the world to us and allows us to continue what we've started!

We haven't named them yet, so if you have suggestions, drop them below 👇🏽

You've been asking, and we've been telling you "soon." And "soon" is finally "now"!

WE HAVE BEEF!!

Some of y'all saw him in our pasture, and some even got to pet him, so you know he's the real deal.

We'd like to answer a couple of questions yall have already asked:

1. Our ground beef will not have fat percentages on them (80/20 or 90/10). Commercial beef may be blended from multiple animals to achieve a consistent lean to fat ratio. Our meat is also not lab tested or standardized through industrial blending. Our beef is coming from one steer.

2. This steer was primarily grass fed, but he did get sweet feed (mostly in exchange for snuggles from us).

3. His name was Cheeseburger. We know sometimes it's hard to not get attached once an animal is named. We also know it's uncommon, but we often name our animals because it keeps us connected to them, so that we are intentional in how we care for them. Our hope is to always provide quality meat to y'all!

I can't be the only one who comes home after a normal day with 6,047 different tabs open in my brain.

Despite all the noise and stresses of the day, it only takes about 5 seconds for me to start to relax my brain and bring in some peace when I get home on the farm.

There are three things occurring here that can lower stress levels like cortisol and adrenaline, and at the same time increase happy hormones like oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine:

1. Spending time in nature
2. Hanging out with animals.
3. Letting your skin absorb some warmth from the sun

Would this kind of evening lower your stress and anxiety levels after a full day, 💪🏽yes or 👎🏽no?

🍂Today was finally the definition of fall here on the farm, and this is how we feel about it!

Our pigs LOVE pumpkins! We like watching them eat 'em up too!

We are often told how good our meats are. We believe it all in how they're raised!

How long does it take a chicken to lay an egg⁉️

This prissy thinks she's something special and has found her own luxury nesting box. I let her in this morning as I started waking up the farm. By the time I was done, so was she!

Family farm, chickens, eggs, chores, wake up

The rain didn't keep us apart! Thank you all for coming out to visit us today despite the rain and wind!⛈️💨

We enjoy our conversations with each of yall and appreciate every person who comes into our store, supports us on social media, and cheers us on with encouraging messages!

That being said, for those who tag us in all the things on Facebook, leave reviews, and recommend us to friends, we are so thankful. Since August we have been in a weird "restriction" from Groups (I guess we're doing something right); we can see all the kind things yall say, but we cannot post or engage at all in the groups. Thank you for being our voice and giving us a presence!

We love yall and are striving to bring you authentic, quality, and homegrown from our farm to your fork!
