It has been about two weeks since I've really had the chance to spend time in the pumpkin patch. Between the heat, the rain, my W-2 job, and a stubborn case of back spasms, life has definitely kept me on my toes.
Today, Remi and I finally made it back out for our "official inspection," and I couldn't stop smiling. ๐๐พ
The pumpkin plants are thriving, the vines are stretching, and the patch is covered in beautiful yellow blooms. Most of what we found were male flowersโwhich is exactly what we'd expect at this stageโbut we were excited to spot a few tiny pumpkins already beginning to emerge!
There's still plenty of growing season ahead, but seeing the progress reminded me why all the hard work is worth it.
Fall may seem far away, but every pumpkin starts with a tiny seed, a flower, and a whole lot of patience. We can't wait to welcome you to OH My Gourd! this fall! ๐๐งก๐
