June 6, 2026

The City of Philadelphia will be repaving both Levering Street and Green Lane tomorrow, Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During this time, both streets will be closed to vehicular traffic. We anticipate an immediate road opening after paving.

We understand that this timing may be frustrating and may impact businesses, residents, employees, and visitors. Unfortunately, the City has informed us that the work must take place on a Saturday morning due to weekday commuter traffic considerations. We also only received notice of the closure today and are sharing this information as quickly as possible so that everyone can plan accordingly.

We appreciate your patience as these roadway improvements are completed. If you have questions or concerns regarding the project, we encourage you to contact Councilmember Jones’ office. You may also email [email protected], and we will help direct your concerns to the appropriate City representatives.

Our very popular Pickled Red Onions are back in stock after a 2-year hiatus. We will also have its zero-waste companion product Onion Top Walnut Pesto (and it is vegan). Use both on your favorite sandwich for a zesty red onion flavor. We have a very limited amount of Frankenstein Sauce left in inventory for the season, so if you enjoy our famous green lady, we suggest stocking up. Once she is sold out, she will not be making an appearance until green tomato season, which is mid- to late-autumn. We are letting customers know that due to the growing season issue that occurred in NJ and PA regarding stone fruits, peach-flavored jams will be taking a break until the holiday season.
