Making a difference, one meal at a time! ❤️

Members of our corporate office team recently volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, joining fellow volunteers to hand-pack 49 boxes totaling 10,584 meals! That's enough to provide 29 children with a daily meal for an entire year.

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and helped make a meaningful impact in the lives of children around the world! 🙌

We’ve broken ground on the next chapter for Bongards!

Our $135 million Bongards, MN plant expansion will add 120,000 square feet of manufacturing and automated warehouse space, with production targeted to begin in early 2028. The project will provide an additional 180 million pounds of process cheese capacity, helping us meet customer demand and pursue new opportunities at home and around the world.

For our farmer-owned cooperative, this investment carries a purpose that reaches well beyond the facility itself: adding value to our members’ milk and strengthening their farms for future generations.

With advanced manufacturing technology and expanded capabilities, we’re also investing in career opportunities for our employees and continued growth in the communities we call home.

Happy National School Lunch Week! 🍎🧀

At Bongards, we’re proud to celebrate the school nutrition professionals who work every day to make a difference for students. This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Darcy Stueber, who has dedicated more than 25 years to school nutrition and foodservice.

For Darcy, serving students goes far beyond putting a meal on the tray. She’s proud of the opportunities her Nutrition Services team has to create memorable experiences, introduce students to new foods and cultures, support local farmers, and make sure every student feels welcome at the table.

During National School Lunch Week, Bongards is proud to recognize Darcy and all the dedicated school nutrition professionals working behind the scenes to plan, prepare, and serve meals that help students thrive.
