We appreciate the understanding that we are closed early today.
It is with heavy hearts that we take time to wish a friend "see you later" and stand with his family for a bit in midst of some tough days. Ulrich's didn't "lose" just an employee, Joel was the left hand of our packaging crew. If you enjoyed something from Ulrich Meat Market, it's highly likely Joel helped us get it ready for you to enjoy.
Joel was the picky, eat a bun only, ornery as the day is long, older brother of the crew that was ready with a prank, wisecrack or listening ear depending on the moment. His giggle and smile are missed, and even his bull headed, not gonna change how I do it attitude, too.
Joel has left his mark here around Ulrich Meat Market in many ways. This truck he made in 2018 to help us celebrate the history of Pella Bologna being 150 years strong is just one of the things he leaves us with.
