For this week's vendor spotlight, we are celebrating Andriz with Molded Mom3nts!

Straight from Andriz' heart:

"My name is Andriz Melenciano. I am a wife and mother of three daughters. After I spent five years teaching at Pella Christian Schools, I became a stay-at-home mom following a high-risk pregnancy.

Becoming a stay-at-home mom gave me the opportunity to explore my passion for creating. I make handmade macramé pieces, plaster figurines, plants, and handcrafted plant pots.

I started this small business because I love creating with my hands and sharing that creativity with others. My children enjoy painting, and I wanted to provide fun, creative activities for them during the summer. I began inviting their friends over for DIY "Paint Your Own Figurine" play days, and the kids absolutely loved them. Seeing their excitement inspired me to create take-home kits that include a plaster figurine with a magnet, paints, and a paintbrush so other families can enjoy the same experience together.

In addition to my ready-made products, I also offer custom orders, birthday party favors, and DIY paint-your-own figurine kits for special gatherings such as birthday parties, tea parties, playdates, and other celebrations. I love helping create memorable and creative experiences for children, families, and friends.

This year, I decided to join the wonderful Pella Farmers Market because it brings together families, community members, and supporters of local small businesses. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my creations with the community and connect with people who appreciate handmade items.

What I'm Selling:

Handmade macramé creations
Plaster of Paris figurines
Paint-your-own figurine kits
Plants
Handmade plant pots
Custom orders
Birthday party favors and gifts
DIY paint kits for parties, tea gatherings, and special events

Fan Favorite:

My paint-your-own figurine kits have quickly become a customer favorite. Each kit includes a handmade figurine, paints, and a paintbrush, making it a fun and creative activity for children and families to enjoy together. Customers also love being able to order custom figurines and party favors for special occasions.. (that's the reason why we decided to change the name to "Molded Mom3nts")

It's FESTIVE season! Come on out to Pella Farmers' Market tomorrow (Thursday 4-7 or 8) where, along with Thursdays In Pella, the theme is Fair on the Square!

The weather promises to be perfect for browsing our PFM Market for fresh produce (more choices every week!) and all things yummy and handmade. There won't actually be a ferris wheel, but you can pick up the county fair vibes regardless! Watch for a post that will reveal the fresh produce available at the Market.

Remember to bring your sustainable bag to shop and receive a $1 token!

Welcome to one of our newest vendors and take part in the debut appearance of Jenna & Kate this afternoon!

Straight from Jenna's heart:

This winter, I will have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Abaco, Bahamas. The mission organization that organizes this trip is Many Hands. In an effort to raise money for Abaco, my grandma came up with the idea to sell flowers at the Pella Farmers' Market! Loving this idea, we have been busy planning and planting!

We are selling hand-grown and hand-picked bouquets from Grandma's garden. These are filled with various kinds of colorful flowers. They are not always going to be the same because different varieties of flowers are better at different times in the summer. For bouquets, there is a smaller option, and a larger option. We will also be selling single stems!

Another way I have been trying to make money this summer is by making embroidery projects! I have already gotten a few jobs embroidering bouquets on wedding photos. At the Farmers' Market, I am going to sell embroidered keychains.

Making bouquets is a wonderful way to enjoy God’s creation, and I hope that I can bring joy to others through these flowers. We would love for you to come check out our booth on Thursday night!
