Eat a cupcake, support a good cause! 🧁

All October long, Market Hall Bakery is fundraising for La Clínica de La Raza in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For every cupcake sold, we’re donating 50¢ to La Clínica, a network of East Bay health centers that provides comprehensive care, including breast exams and mammograms, regardless of a patient’s income or insurance status. We’ve raised over $1,000 in the past, and with your help we can raise even more.

Hosting a Halloween shindig? Wow your guests with a platter of cupcakes. Throwing a Valkyries game watching party? Root for the home team with cupcakes. Need a sweet pick-me-up just because?Cupcakes. You get the idea!

We had such a blast celebrating our 11th annual Great Crucolo Parade this past Saturday! Thank you to everyone who joined us in escorting the enormous wheel of cheese down Shafter Ave. with song and dance. If you weren’t able to make it to the festivities, but still want a taste of Crucolo, stop by the Cheese Counter to grab a wedge. But come quick—it’ll be gone in just a few days and won’t be back for another year.

TOMORROW, Saturday, Oct. 17: something BIG is coming.

Our 11th annual Crucolo Parade kicks off at noon sharp!

What’s Crucolo? A 300+ lb wheel of creamy, grassy cow’s milk cheese from the mountains of Trentino-Alto Adige. We’re one of only two shops in the U.S. that carries it. To celebrate its arrival, our cheesemongers, dressed in Italian garb, roll the giant wheel down Shafter Avenue to live accordion music, dancing and fanfare. The parade ends with a ceremonial cheese cutting and plenty of samples for all.
