As I was on my way to my retreat (Mindful Kollaborative Strategies), I delightfully passed Jung’s Distribution Center and seed store and made a mental note to stop there on my way home and find a local place for coffee and dessert.

Our host Mary Kay Sergo mentioned that the Jungs’ flagship store in Randolph was a family’s annual outing for her growing up. That sealed it for me, I KNEW I had to stop on the way home.

As I was leaving I typed in Jung’s into the GPS on my way back… what I didn’t know? There’s more than one location in Wisconsin!

It took me 30 minutes completely in the opposite direction of home and I ended up in Stevens Point, which just happens to be their northernmost location AND their largest retail store!

Which plant would you be most likely to take home?

Tip: Always ask locals for an amazing restaurant recommendation, you’re not going to be disappointed.

We’re saving a spot at the market for someone who lives for the sweet stuff — cookies, brownies, muffins, scones, cupcakes, banana bread, the works.

The kind of baker who makes people slow down, take a bite, and just feel something.

We’re looking for a full-time dessert vendor for the next 11 Thursdays starting June 4th, 3–7 PM at 20 E. Front St. Newark, IL.

A place where community gathers, neighbors become regulars, and every table tells a story.
