We’re saving a spot at the market for someone who lives for the sweet stuff — cookies, brownies, muffins, scones, cupcakes, banana bread, the works.

The kind of baker who makes people slow down, take a bite, and just feel something.

We’re looking for a full-time dessert vendor for the next 13 Thursdays starting June 4th, 3–7 PM at 20 E. Front St. Newark, IL.

A place where community gathers, neighbors become regulars, and every table tells a story.

We believe healthy soil grows healthy food. Here’s a look at the practices we use in our garden:

∙ Soil is conserved and enriched using manure, compost, and/or cover crops
∙ Minimal tillage to protect soil structure and keep it thriving
∙ Ground is kept covered with mulch or straw to retain moisture and build the soil
∙ Hand weeding and hand watering
∙ Companion planting and trap crops to naturally manage pests
∙ Crop rotation to maintain soil health
∙ Non-GMO seeds and disease-resistant varieties
∙ No synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or chemical sprays

Growing this way takes more time and attention, but we think the soil — and the food it produces — is worth it.
