“In a field of roses, she is a wildflower.” Today we celebrated the life and legacy of my amazing grandma. She was an artist, and taught me to paint at a young age. It feels fitting today to share these sunflower cookies that received a little extra flare with some (edible) hand painted watercolor—one of my favorite cookie decorating techniques, and a skill I am grateful to my grandma for teaching me. Today I pray she is painting the wildflowers in Heaven.🌻
