We have something new on the luncheon menu today, and it's going to be AMAZING! It's early in the morning currently and this beef has been slow roasting for around 16 hours already. Once it's cool enough to handle, it will be hand shredded, put back in these natural juices with the absolute perfect blend of seasonings, and when you're ready for lunch, it will be placed on a delicious, tender, Rotella's Brat Bun with all this flavor for the tastiest, juiciest sandwich you'll try in a long time. Slow Roasted, Tender USDA Choice, Certified Angus Roast Beef, piled high and long. This ain't no little tiny bun with a burger the size of a stamp, this is REAL Food, real Roast Beef, and you're going to love it! And it will take less time than some chintzy burger to get ready for you! 😋😋
I had to come back and edit my post because today's lunch has a co-star; Chef Cheryl's delicious, Homemade Spaghetti Salad. There are people that request it by itself because it's so amazing!

Lots of delicious items for you in our menu and grocery ad over the next week. New items like our French Dip Sandwich tomorrow, and old favorites like the Turkey Melt on Wednesday. Many more types of fresh produce are coming into season and we're sharing lots of delicious items throughout the store for you!

We sold all of the Jalapeno Cheddar Brats that I prepared yesterday and a lot of the German Brats. I plan on making more this morning, and we're going to produce a new variety that I'm excited to try. I love taking ideas that others have had and expanding on them. That's how our Fully Loaded Breakfast Brats came about. Someone told me about a sausage they were making and I thought to myself that they hadn't taken it far enough, and Voila! A star was born! 😋
The big name in sausages around the country is of course, Johnsonville and they came out recently with a new brat, Dr. Pepper Brats. Sounds good but knowing what I do about how certain flavors work on the grill or smoker led me to believe that a slight variation on those would be even better, so later this morning, Mulholland's will be putting out our first, Cherry Dr. Pepper Brats.

We had an amazing day yesterday and have many orders for today. Stop in for steaks, sausages, Ground Beef, Salads, ice cream or whatever your family desires. We'll be open from 8 am to 7 pm and would love to see you and take care of you

This isn't the type of post that I enjoy putting up, but it does show how much social media does for a business like mine.
After I ordered our salmon, MANY orders for Fresh Salmon and Smoked Salmon have come in. So many that what I will be smoking tomorrow shall all be reserved and none of it will go in the counter for sale.
That's a great problem to have and we hope that we have as good of response next time, I'll be sure to order more. If you were looking forward to some, please do call ahead when we do it again in 2 weeks, May 1st for the fresh and 2nd for the Smoked.

Who'd have guessed that the stars would align so well today! I expected to have a lot of things to do in a very little time. I needed chicken breasts delivered before I could make the stuffed breast, AND the delivery was not supposed to come until noonish. I needed to cut Fresh Salmon and it often doesn't come in until 1 pm, PLUS I needed to leave around 1:30 for an appointment in Omaha, all of which meant I wasn't going to get the Stuffed Breasts made until tomorrow, probably.
Early this morning, the appointment was cancelled, the noon semi arrived about 10:30, and that 1 pm salmon came in around 11. Stuffed Breasts are ready and some have already been reserved! I made a good number, but they always sell fast, so call, get on your horse or in your car, buggy, or whatever you have and get some for your weekend!

Roll that beautiful Brat Footage or Ham Salad footage!
It's been a morning! I said earlier that Homemade and Fresh were the key words, and already today, there's Fresh Ham Salad, Baked Beans, German Brats and Jalapeno Cheddar Brats. Our delivery arrived and there's other things that we'll be making now, also. The Fresh Salmon just arrived and I'll start cutting that next after letting you know of everything we have for you!
Cheryl's Maid-rites and Homemade Potato salad have made a number of people happy already and we still have plenty for YOU!

Roll that beautiful bean footage!

Yeah, this is what they meant! These will be ready later this morning, and we've already got 3 quarts of them reserved even before the public knew we were making them.
Chef Cheryl has been working on her homemade Potato Salad for the past couple of days as the side to go with our luncheon special today, delicious, perfectly seasoned Maid-rites. She starts with our Fresh, Lean Ground Beef, adds onions and seasonings until the flavor is absolutely perfect and then simmers it all to add even more amazing flavor.
Fresh, and Homemade are the key words at Mulholland Grocery. We've got plenty of Fresh Chicken Breasts coming today which means that I'll be able to prepare a large batch of our Stuffed Chicken Breasts with Bacon and Smoked Gouda Cheese for the weekend, but that may not happen until tomorrow. Our delivery will be later than normal because my warehouse has a couple of injuries to the drivers and won't be here as early as normal. Fresh Salmon is coming in today and we'll have our Smoked Salmon tomorrow. Numerous orders for fresh and Smoked have already been received.
It's going to be a great weekend to grill some steaks, chops, Salmon and more, so stop in Mulholland Grocery today and get the quality meats that your family loves. Get extra and invite the neighbors!
