Meet Red Delicious. But please, call him Pop-Pop. Everybody does. 🍎

With 30 grandkids, a pocket full of caramels and a story for just about everything, Pop-Pop is the kind of apple who never forgets a birthday… even if it takes him six names to get there.

These days, you can usually find him reading to the little ones, sneaking the grandkids an extra treat and keeping his wife’s memory close.
And no, he is NOT related to Golden Delicious. Though he’ll happily tell you she’s the spitting image of him. She loves that joke.

We’re lucky to call Michigan home, and this we’re taking a moment to appreciate all the apples that grow here. The orchards that families return to each fall. The jug of fresh Michigan c***r that finds its way into your grocery cart. And the people who spend their days growing, picking, packing and sharing Michigan Apples with the world.

There’s so much care behind every harvest, and so much to love about the place it comes from!
