We will be picking Earlyglow strawberries through the weekend!
Earlyglow has been a part of our farm since the very beginning of our 47 years of strawberry production, making it a variety that holds a special place in our hearts. While it may not be known for producing the largest berries, it is widely loved for what matters most—its incredible sweetness and old-fashioned strawberry flavor.
Many customers consider Earlyglow to be one of the best varieties for fresh eating, freezing, and especially making homemade jam. Its rich flavor has made it a favorite for generations.

After months of planning, planting, worrying about the weather, watching the fields grow, and hoping for a successful crop, we are so excited to finally kick off another strawberry season at Felzke Farms.
This year is especially meaningful as it marks our 47th consecutive year of strawberry harvesting and sharing our crop with the community. For nearly five decades, families have visited our farm each summer to enjoy fresh strawberries, create traditions, and make memories. We are incredibly grateful to have been a small part of so many family stories over the years.
For our family, strawberry season is so much more than just a harvest. It's watching children run through the rows with red-stained fingers and smiling faces. It's seeing grandparents bring grandchildren to continue traditions they started decades ago. It's hearing laughter in the fields and watching families make memories that will last a lifetime.
As a fifth-generation family farm, every season is a reminder of how blessed we are to do what we love.
We never take for granted the support of our incredible customers who choose to spend part of their summer with us year after year. Many of you have become more than customers—you've become friends and part of the Felzke Farms family.
🍓 At this time, we are offering pre-picked strawberries only. Our crew is hard at work harvesting fresh berries daily so you can enjoy the very best of the season. U-Pick will be coming soon! We are waiting for the fields to reach peak picking conditions and will announce opening dates as soon as they are ready.
This year, like many farms across the country, we have faced increased costs for fertilizer, fuel, equipment repairs, packaging, labor, and supplies. Because of these challenges, we have had to make a slight increase in our strawberry prices. Please know this was not a decision we made lightly. We understand every dollar matters, and we have worked hard to keep the increase as small as possible while continuing to provide the quality strawberries you've come to expect from our farm.
When you purchase strawberries from Felzke Farms, you're not just buying berries. You're supporting a family, preserving local agriculture, helping keep a fifth-generation farm going strong, and helping ensure that this tradition can continue for generations to come.
