Yesterday was a wonderful afternoon at the farmers market! Thank you for joining us on our Opening Day! Our vendors and staff really felt all the love and support from our community, and we enjoyed seeing so many of our friends and neighbors.

There are lots of free parking options close to Town Square, but it’s helpful to know all your options!

City Hall is kitty corner across the street to the Market - you can park in the underground garage itself, or in the lot behind adjacent to the skate park.

The northwest corner of the Kenmore Park&Ride makes for an easy walk - cross 73rd and walk 181st two blocks directly to the Market!

There is also a lot of free street parking - you may get lucky right on 68th St north of the Market, or just one or two blocks farther there are always available spots on NE 185th St and NE 182nd St. Please follow any signs regarding parking rules.

Let’s support our local small business neighbors by respecting their parking lots. Please do not park in the lot northwest of the Market between Kenmore Camera and Stoup Brewing.

What a treat for all the green thumbs that come to the Market! The Bastyr University Medicinal and Edible Gardens grow plants annually to offer to the community for their own home use, and educates on the role of medicinal plants. Viva Farms is a farm support non-profit that lowers the barriers for beginning farmers. Viva operates over 100 acres and 30 small farm businesses through their Incubator and Training Program as well as educating new farmers through a Sustainable Agriculture Practicum.

Viva Farms will be with us for select weeks with produce and cut flowers from a rotating cast of their incubator farmers. Come learn about the good work they do and shop local!

We're only one week out! This time next week we'll be strolling along, coffee in one hand, bouquet of flowers in the other, watching float planes fly overhead as we shop local produce, beef, bread, and artisan goods. We truly hope you'll join us - it is a wonderful community moment each Wednesday. Live music, kids activities, dinner options. It's a great way to break up your week.
