We're highlighting a couple of new and returning vendors to look out for at the market tomorrow. Be sure to stop by, say hello, and discover some amazing local flavors!

Welcome Oro to the DPFM! Oro's handcrafted pastas celebrate traditional Italian techniques, Virginia-grown ingredients, and the flavors of the season. Just look at this tortellini! Stop by their booth to discover fresh pasta creations and seasonal specialties!

Treat yourself to this mouthwatering brioche bun filled with creamy cheesecake, berry jam, and fresh blueberries, then topped with a buttery lemon streusel. Find this delicious creation (and many more irresistible treats) at Jane Dough!

Old Tavern Farm's colorful cauliflower is as nutritious as it is beautiful! Orange cauliflower is rich in beta-carotene, purple cauliflower is packed with antioxidants, and all varieties are loaded with Vitamin C and fiber. Find them this Saturday at the DPFM!

Did you have a chance to grab Whisk & Willow's flaky croissant bread last Saturday?? This bread is buttery, super flaky and it makes a perfect sandwich or French toast. Pick that up and a ton of other delicious breads at the market tomorrow!

Cocogin Juice is new to the DPFM this season! Founded with a passion for making wellness simple and accessible, CoCoGin crafts fresh cold-pressed juices designed to hydrate, heal, and fuel your day. Market Meals kicks off this Saturday at 10a! 🥬

🥕🍅 Looking for fresh meal inspiration? Join I Kale Life select Saturdays during the market season for Market Meals, a fun and flavorful cooking demonstration featuring simple, nutritious recipes made with fresh, seasonal ingredients from local vendors. Watch, learn, and taste as healthy meals come together right before your eyes!

Lettuce celebrate - Opening Day is finally here! 🥬(see what we did there??)

Opening Day is THIS SATURDAY, and in addition to this AMAZING list of new and returning farmers & producers, fresh local produce, delicious local foods & lovely handcrafted items, enjoy FREE family fun 9 a.m.- noon:

🎶 Live Music from Tyler Meacham and Chip Hale Music
🧑‍🧑‍🧒 Kids’ Zone Fun: Barrel train rides and Bounce house!
🎈Balloon twisting with Miss Sheri and Miss Danielle
🎨 Face painting & more with Creative Faces by Stephanie
🧘 Community Yoga with One Drop Yoga at 10a on the rec center deck
✨ Stop by the Pop Club to decorate a market bag to use all season
AND Join the Two-Bite Club: Taste the veggie of the week for $2 to spend with a farmer!

All kids' activities will be located in the field adjacent to the market with easy parking nearby.

A few more things to look out for:
🎟️Be sure to stop by the Varina Ruritan Club's table on Saturday and pick up a FREE raffle ticket for your chance to win a picnic table.
🥧The Bits & Pieces Club will be out fundraising; stop by and pick up a baked good to support a great cause.
🎣FREE fishing at the Dorey Park Pond - VA DWR will be on site with everything you need (rods, tackle, bait and more) to reel in a BIG one! Fish 9a-3p, no permits required.
