County Line/Main Street Recently Lost A Member Of Our Extended Family.
John Peters Jr. left us June 3, 2026 at 91 years young.
Mr. John had been a customer to our owner Eric since his J&P days, was one of the first at Main Street Market And Deli 19 1/2 years ago and was the first non-family at County Line.
Mr. John (Bud) was one of a kind, ornery/funny and always ready to tell an inappropriate joke....you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. There were also many stories told about the family tavern in Baltimore.
He was loyal, supportive and dedicated to his family and the ones he chose to spend his time with. Eric was fortunate to have been one that he liked. Mr. John became a friend and one of our favorite patrons.
His Saturday Night Crew at County will miss him as well. He made friends with a group of what used to be strangers who looked forward to seeing him every week.
We have faith that he is with his Wife Florence and the rest of his family and friends who have left this Earth. Surely he is entertaining everyone with a Miller Lite in hand, telling them his latest joke.
Thank you to the Peters Family for sharing him with us.
We will miss you Mr. John...thank you for your loyalty to our businesses, always being there and believing in us.
Until we meet again...keep them cold.
