We are a grocery store in Troy NY established to help those who are food insecure in a food desert.

Customers have been thanking us for the candy. The candy has been going really fast.

Love the block cheese we have. Perfect to cut for cheese boards or to shred. We have extra sharp, Muenster, and pepper jack.

Amish cauliflower. One of the things we are proud of is the produce we have, and this Amish cauliflower will change your life. When produce is as good as this, you don't need much. Roast it and add just a little bit of salt. Perfection.

We have a variety of apples including Honeycrisp. Customers love how these eat.

Nice grapefruit. Especially great for vitamin C during flu season. I don't get the flu shot, but I try to eat citrus.

Customers love mangos. One of my favorite things is to dry them in the oven at 170. Makes a great snack, and customers say it helps with digestion and is a good source of vitamin A and folate.

We have Olipop lemon lime and cherry vanilla. Customers say this is the only soda they will drink.

These Sour Bombs are incredible. Customers love, love, love these.

Love the fresh cucumbers.

How about some Amish acorn squash. 400 F, scoop it out, add salt and olive oil, and roast. Unbelievable.

Last but not least, Amish kabocha squash. These are nuttier, almost chestnut-like. Love these.

Dino's Meatballs. Get these before we sell out. Dino's meatballs are made in Utica, NY, and Dino's has been a partner with us.

Benedetto Italia San Marzano 28 oz tomatoes. Customers have told us that these make a difference in their sauce.

Thank you to our customers in Troy for buying the steaks last week. Demand was so high we sent more. If you want steak, please ask a manager. These are restaurant-grade steaks like our coulotte or picanha steaks, NY strip, or baseball sirloin steaks. We have them, just ask a manager.

We sent more double-pack lean ground beef. Perfect for Taco Tuesday.

For the weekend games, we are wing central. Have you tried baking or air frying them? Delicious, cooked through and crispy on the outside.

Our manager John keeps saying how well the Kirkwood chicken is selling. These are delicious.

25 lb bags of beets. Customers love these big bags of beets. Perfect for canning or pickling.

These Amish Brussels sprouts with the stalks are delicious. This is the way vegetables should be.

Lots of ice cream sandwiches.

Amish cauliflower. When produce is local and fresh, all you need to do is cook it simply and eat. I roast it with olive oil and salt. That is all. It is perfect.

We have all kinds of apples straight from a farmer. From the farm directly to our stores.

For weekend football night, we have Aqua Panna water.

TROY - we have restaurant-grade steaks and hamburgers. TJ is holding up rump cap, or coulotte, famously known as picanha. Limited quantities while supplies last. We also have sirloin tips, butt steak, and top sirloin. We also have burger packs. I have some lamb chops. All limited quantities and while supplies last. TROY - buy these up so we can keep sending steaks to Troy.

We also have these Perdue chicken breast packs.

Customers have been demanding more Po***ck potato-crusted wedges. These are delicious, and prepared in the air fryer, they are incredible.

I think this is the first time ever we have Ezekiel bread in the freezer. This is the only way to keep good bread with no preservatives. This is how we do it, and the internet says it is better for blood sugar.

Get some lean ground beef for Sunday night football. Put it into tacos or chili. Perfect.

We are starting to get our apples for the season. Straight from the farmer in the Hudson Valley. We have Gala and Fuji and are set to get more.

For Sunday game night we have ribs. For some customers, they have to have the smoke, but for me, I'm all about ease. I put them in the oven and let them get tender and sweet.

The Bills are playing on Sunday, and we have the wings for it. Once I learned how to make wings in the oven and then air fry them, I stopped ordering them in. These make perfect wings.

For the kids, make some famous chicken nuggets. Air fry them, and they will be awesome.

Chicken breast breaded patties. Customers love these. For something a bit heartier, you can make these and put out chicken sandwiches.

For dessert, get our famous ice cream. We have all the brand names of ice cream.

We sent down a new batch of thinly sliced cold cuts. Make them into subs or put them out as part of your cheese board or charcuterie board.

We have Amish mums. Our mums come to us and the same day they are at the store. From farm to store. Over the years, because they don't sit in a truck for days being transported and are locally grown, customers have told us for a decade that they last longer than mums from other places.

I just got more water from a well-known distributor, but they asked us not to discuss who they are. It's purified water in a 40-pack of 16.9 oz bottles. All I can tell you is that we run out every time.

John, our manager in Troy, has been fighting to keep getting this lean ground beef. He says our Troy customers love it. Next time you see him, tell him you appreciate him.

Flowers tomorrow morning at 10 AM. Beautiful.

Back again is Heidelberg bread. Remember, freeze it. That is what Heidelberg says because it has no preservatives.

I have a water that the distributor asked us to redact because they don't want resellers to buy it all and resell it. This water is from a famous place, and they are known for getting it from other famous manufacturers and putting their name on it. We have customers who drive a long distance to get it.

You know it's time for fall decorations. I got you with all these pumpkins. Locally sourced, and what customers have told us is they will last longer on your porch and windowsill. John said we got hit hard on pumpkins, but we still have large and small ones left for Saturday morning.

Real chicken nuggets. For 25 years our customers have told us these are it. They taste like the famous ones. We are not clowning around.

Grassland butter. This is the stuff I like. Customers have told us this has the butter taste that butter used to have before Big Dairy got a hold of it.

John, our manager, said these Empress Plums are popular. We were not sure if Troy customers would like them as much as Utica, but you are all loving them.

A September 11 reflection from our CEO, Pastor Mike Servello, on the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

Where were you on September 11, 2001?

I had just arrived in the Bay Area of California to speak at a conference. I woke up to the unimaginable news that our country was under attack.

Like millions of Americans, I was stunned. Frightened. Heartbroken.

But 25 years later, one thing still stands out to me.
We were united.

Nobody cared who you voted for.

We were simply Americans trying to get home to our families.

It took days for me to find a flight home to Utica. When I returned to New York, I went to Ground Zero.

My brother-in-law and several friends in the NYPD were there working through the devastation and hoping to find survivors.

I’ll never forget what I saw.

But I’ll also never forget what I saw across America.

People prayed together. Strangers helped each other. We put aside our differences.

We were Americans first.

Twenty-five years later, I wonder what happened to some of that spirit.

We’re going to disagree. We should disagree.

I’ve worked with government leaders from both sides of the aisle. We don’t always agree, but I’ve found many of them genuinely want to serve their communities and make our country better.

Disagreement doesn’t have to become hatred.

Political differences don’t have to make us enemies.

Today, I remember the nearly 3,000 people who never came home.

I remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, military members, and ordinary citizens who ran toward danger.

I remember their families.

And I remember a country that stood together.

We can disagree without hating each other.

We can be different without becoming enemies.

We are still Americans.

God bless the United States of America.

Never forget.

Get this extra lean ground beef. Perfect for Taco Tuesday or Labor Day Cookout

We have double packs of ribs ready for Labor Day. The last days of summer are a perfect time for ribs.

Assistant Manager Nazir told me these old-school Hug drinks are flying out of the store. Perfect for that Labor Day party with kids.

Earthbound Organic Baby Romaine is my favorite salad green.

This Herdez Taqueria Street Taco Sauce is so good. You need to try it.

My favorite fruits of the season are these pluots. The old song says, "It takes two to make a thing go right." Well, that is what a pluot is: a plum and an apricot.

Amish cauliflower is so good when roasted with a little salt and olive oil.

I love our seedless watermelon. I talked to a customer and showed her how to pick a watermelon. Remember to look for the yellow marks and a small stem.
