I know, I know.... we get new cheeses ALL THE TIME. What can I say, we're really excited for this one and just had to share.
Langres is a French, washed-rind cow's milk cheese originating from the Langres Plateau in the Champagne region, known for its vibrant orange rind, creamy texture, and tangy, earthy flavor with a distinctive concave top called a "fontaine". This dimple is traditionally filled with Champagne or Marc de Champagne, which is poured in before serving to enhance its richness and aroma, making it a popular celebratory cheese.
