This mornings beautiful sunrise and frost shows us it is time for rest and rebuilding. It is time to layer all of the beds with compost and tuck them in for winter... Steve works hard in the winter planning all of the layout for next years crops and hauling loads and loads of aged compost for all of the planting areas. Just shorter days and slower movement. Happy Fall and Thank you for a great season. We have some good plans for next years crop harvests and more lovely food!

For Steve big milestone birthday he got to work with a wonderful local chef in the kitchen for 2 full days and prepare a meal for some of our friends. The food was amazing and Steve had a great time and worked really hard on this dinner a total of over 12 hours! Happy Birthday Stephen Neason Love you 😍

When the garden has stopped producing, Farmer Steve is still hard at work!! He has been sifting thru old wood chips and bringing home buckets full of rich aged compost for the garden beds. A tedious task that only this man of much patients can do.

Our produce grows so well because of this special care in prepping all of the beds and building life into the soil over winter. Stay tuned more on garden bed prepping for winter.
