One of our FAVORITE things about Rockridge has nothing to do with apples, produce or cider. ❤️

It’s getting to be a small part of someone else’s dream.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of being the VERY FIRST store to put so many local small businesses’ products on our shelves. For some, we were the first place they got to see something THEY created sitting on a real store shelf — and we freaking LOVE that.

Today, we carry products from more than 20 local small businesses — bakers, farmers, coffee roasters, honey producers, sauce and salsa makers, candle makers, locally raised organic pork and beef, locally canned tuna and so much more.

When you shop at Rockridge, you’re not just supporting our little family business. You’re supporting THEIRS too. ❤️

You’re helping someone make their next batch, grow their side hustle and sometimes have that moment of, “Holy crap… people actually want what I make.” 🥹

There is room for ALL of us to succeed.

And this part is personal for me.

When I think about what I want my legacy to be someday, THIS IS IT.
I want to be remembered as someone who helped other small businesses get their start. Someone who gave people a chance, made room on a shelf, shared their products and cheered them on while they grew.

I genuinely feel like this is part of why I’m here. ❤️

Rockridge may be our business, but helping other people build THEIRS has become one of the most meaningful parts of it for me.

When people say, “Rockridge was the first store that gave us a chance,” then I’ll feel like I did something that mattered.

So next time you’re at Rockridge, look around at how many things were grown, raised, caught, baked, bottled, roasted or handmade by somebody LOCAL.

Shop small. Shop local. Support somebody’s dream. ❤️
