Well, when your son wants to be a “black bunny with white spots and big floppy ears,” you make it happen! 🐰🖤🤍

I love that Frankie still gets excited about homemade costumes, and I’m so glad I get to make them for him, just like my mama always did for my brother and me. There’s something so nostalgic about Halloween, and I love getting to relive a little of my childhood through him.

We had so much fun trick-or-treating with friends, and even Uncle Ryan and Auntie Cara joined us! The kids had a blast!

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! And just like that, the holiday season is here! I love November and the simplicity of Thanksgiving before all the Christmas craziness begins. 🦃🍂

🎃 Happy Halloween from Merryweather Farm! 🧙‍♀️

One of our favorite days of the year is finally here!

Our farm stand is open today, and we still have some East Haddam Witches sweatshirts and long sleeves to keep you warm while you’re out trick-or-treating tonight!

🍎 We also have some amazing local apple c***r that’s just as good warm, cold, or mixed into a festive cocktail!

🧀 A few little grab-and-go charcuterie boxes are in the fridge, along with lots of our usual farm stand favorites!

There are a few things in life I believe in passionately… and homemade Halloween costumes are one of them. 😂 Almost lost a finger in the process, but I think it’ll be worth it. Stay tuned to see what I’ve been working on!

Meanwhile, back at Merryweather Farm… 🐓

We’re open all weekend! We still have a few East Haddam Witches sweatshirts and long sleeves, fresh local apple c***r, a few grab-and-go charcuterie boxes in the fridge, and all of our usual farm stand favorites!

And with November right around the corner, we’re getting ready to switch gears! 🎄

🍇 Elderberry is RESTOCKED at Merryweather Farm!

It’s that time of year when everyone seems to be coughing, sneezing, or bringing home some lovely new germ. 🙃

Elderberries are packed with antioxidants and have been used for generations as a natural way to support wellness. Some research even suggests they may help shorten cold symptoms, although the science is still catching up!

Our homemade elderberry syrup is made with organic elderberries, local honey, and warming spices like cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. Simple ingredients, no unnecessary junk, and it actually tastes good!

We can’t promise it’ll keep every germ away, but it’s a pretty delicious addition to your fall and winter routine.
