Every year I look forward to baking with Texas summer produce. This year’s crop of blueberries from Winona Orchards is stellar. We feature these sweet, juicy berries in 2 products: our signature blueberry biscuits and Bea’s (my mom) blueberry muffins. Come taste the difference in season, locally grown, fresh produce makes in our small batch baked items. Fresh at the bakery Wednesday thru Saturday.

Join us at Fair Park on Sunday July 5th for a cooking demonstration with Chef Traci! Our demonstrations are focused on helping our shoppers use seasonal farm fresh local produce as well as introducing you to some of our other vendors.

Join us for the 2nd session of Local Roots at Good Local Markets White Rock Farmers Market with James Beard-nominated and founder of La Casita Bakeshop Chef Maricsa Trejo. Connect with local farmers on sustainable food practices and a chef-led tasting featuring in-season produce from the market, recipes backed by a Registered Nutritionist. First 20 registered guests to arrive will receive a CSA-Market bag of fresh produce!

Local Roots is a four-part series, collaborative program with Good Local Markets and the City of Dallas' Office of Environmental Quality and Sustainability - Urban Agriculture, Office of Arts and Culture Oak Cliff Cultural Center, The Sophisticated Pacifist (Jin-Ya Huang), Dallas Public Library, and Dallas County Health and Human Services. Each session features a guided tour of the market, highlighting in-season produce paired with nutrition-backed recipes, encouraging sustainable habits and awareness on local agriculture.

Meet us for a free walk and farmers market trip! 🍓🍊🥕

We’ll go for a 45 minute walk around Fair Park in Dallas and end at their farmers market.
