What a wonderfully busy week -- and we want you to know ALL about what's going on in the library system! Take some time to plan out your activities, and let us play a part! Here are a few options; more are listed on our online calendars.
Monday (6/8):
📕Parents and caregivers of infants, toddlers, preschoolers are invited to the Fairytale Forest FACT Shop at the Buchanon Park Branch at 3 p.m. Each child will leave with a free toy and book.
📕All ages are invited to learn to play the Pokemon card game at the Smiths Grove Branch at 5 p.m.
Tuesday (6/9)
🎨Adults are invited to get crafty at the Smiths Grove Branch @ 10:30 a.m. and make an Enchanted Forest Diorama
🎨Kids age 5 and up will enjoy making Paper Maché Creatures at the Lisa Rice Library at 3:30 p.m.
👩🍳Come to Cookbook Club's Summer Salads program, and bring a copy of your recipe and sample to share if you'd like to the Bob Kirby Branch at 6 p.m.
Wednesday (6/10)
🏰Play fantasy-themed BINGO and win fun prizes while you connect with community at the Lisa Rice Library at 6 p.m.
Thursday (6/11)
📘Readers and fans of Matt Dinniman's popular Dungeon Crawler Carl series will enjoy a Virtual Author Talk broadcasted on the big screen at The Capitol at 6 p.m.
Saturday (6/13)
🥕👩🌾Don't miss the second Summer Reading Farmers Market of June under the pavilion at SOKY Center from 8 a.m. until 12 noon, where you can shop for fresh produce, unique art, and hand-crafted items as well as snag a bite to eat at the food trucks. Bring the kids to meet Pikachu, to attend the 10 a.m. storytime, and to enjoy the inflatable and play areas!
