This is where we’d have our tester butter eye masks…IF SOMEONE HADN’T STOLEN THEM!!!

If you were with the group that came in around 4:15 pm today, please bring us back our tester—no questions asked. Please know that we do have y’all on our front door camera and will ask that you not return to our store should you decide not to return the eye masks.

In case it wasn’t already known, don’t steal from small businesses! 💖

Missed the farmers market this morning? We got you! The produce fridge is stocked with lots of options:

-radishes
-Napa cabbages
-green onions
-white onions
-green bell peppers
-Anaheim & jalapeño peppers
-peaches
-blueberries

We also have some tomatoes, basil, and (not pictured) red potatoes outside the fridge. ✨

We’ve been busy getting ready to reopen tomorrow! We have several new offerings gracing our shelves, including:

🍑 second PEACHES from Weisbrodt Orchard here in Scottsville
🧀 Country View Creamery spicy chipotle & sharp cheddar
🫛 firm + soft tofu
🍦 pints of whipping cream.

We’ve also brought on chuck eye steaks and restocked ground beef from Mammoth Valley. Blueberries from Lake Berry Farm and The Status Crowe salads & pimento cheese have also been restocked. Restocks for Planted. the Market Farm produce and Hogue Farms bread & rolls are coming tomorrow morning and afternoon, respectively.

Thank y’all for being patient with us during our break! We can’t wait to see your beautiful faces tomorrow! 😘

Just a reminder, both The Local Good General Store & West & Taylor are closed until the 18th.

You may see the lights on some but its just me. I'll be there cooking for catering events and R&Ding recipes.

My catering books are open, personal orders are closed.

Also guys, I'll have so much more to say soon (I can't seem to get them all out), but I have to say thank you! A huge thank you to all who have showed up to our store. You've been the highlight of our days and helped soothe those jitters and anxieties of opening a business. We know you may miss us this week, and we will miss your smiling and inquisitive selves. But we'll be back soon!!
