VENDOR HIGHLIGHT- NANCY SATHRE-VOGEL Nancy is a talented metalsmith, jewelry artist, and collector of antique adornments from around the world. After spending many years as a schoolteacher, much of that time overseas, she discovered a passion for creating wearable art using recycled metals, colorful stones, antique beads, and unique treasures gathered throughout her travels.
Her work is a reflection of a lifetime of adventure. Living in places such as Africa, Taiwan, and the United States has influenced her artistic style in countless ways. From tribal-inspired designs to modern contemporary pieces, each creation tells a story and showcases Nancy’s incredible eye for beauty and detail.
Using recycled copper, brass, antique beads, and found objects, Nancy transforms everyday materials into one-of-a-kind works of art. There is truly no limit to her creativity, and she is constantly exploring new techniques and ideas.
One thing you won’t want to miss this season is Nancy’s stunning sun catchers. These beautiful creations sparkle in the sunlight and are sure to catch your eye as you stroll through the market. Like her jewelry, each piece is unique and thoughtfully crafted.
Beyond her artistic talent, Nancy is simply a joy to visit with. She is fascinating to talk to, full of stories from her travels and experiences, and always happy to share the inspiration behind her work. Like the treasures she creates, Nancy herself is unique, special, and unforgettable.

Vendor Highlight- Hip Pop Hooray! Founded by Boise local Allison Miller, Hip Pop Hooray! has been bringing fresh, gourmet popcorn and plenty of smiles to the Capital City Public Market. After years of dreaming about owning her own business, Allison turned that dream into reality and has been popping up delicious small-batch popcorn since launching the business she began developing in 2019.
What makes Hip Pop Hooray! so special is Allison’s commitment to supporting fellow local businesses. She partners with Boise favorites like The Chocolat Bar, Starlight Herb + Spice, Molly’s Mills Garlic Seasonings, Wufyre Coffee Roasters, Save The Day Seasonings, and Spice Shack Sun Valley to create unique Idaho-inspired flavors you won’t find anywhere else. One of her customer favorites is the Boise Blend, a delicious mix of cheddar and caramel popcorn.
From sweet and savory to spicy and chocolate-covered, there’s truly a flavor for everyone. As you stroll through the market, chances are you’ll catch the irresistible aroma of fresh popcorn filling the air from Allison’s booth.

The Capital City Public Market is joining Boise’s favorite free summer concert series, Alive After 5, with a special mini market on Grove Plaza!
Starting June 17 and running every Wednesday through July 29, join us from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an evening filled with live music, local shopping, delicious food and drinks, and all the energy that makes Downtown Boise so special.
We’ve partnered with Alive After 5 to bring some of your favorite market vendors to Grove Plaza, giving you the chance to shop local while enjoying incredible free concerts all summer long. It’s the perfect midweek outing. Grab your friends, bring your family, stroll through the market, listen to great music, and experience everything our beautiful downtown has to offer.
Whether you’re discovering a new local maker, enjoying dinner from a local food vendor, or simply soaking up the summer atmosphere, these Wednesday evenings are sure to become a favorite tradition.

Vendor Highlight: Boise Live Art
If you have spent any time at the market this season, chances are you’ve seen a crowd gathered around Boise Live Art watching the magic happen.
Nate is an award winning caricature artist who has been creating laughter and memories through his artwork for nearly 20 years. His incredible talent has taken him around the world, including Japan, Austria, and even San Diego Comic-Con, where he drew caricatures of celebrities.
But what we love most about Nate is not just his talent. He is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and his booth is always full of smiles, laughter, and fun. Watching him create a caricature is an experience all by itself.
A caricature from Boise Live Art is more than just a drawing. It is a memory, a keepsake, and a fun way to remember your day at the market.
We are so excited to have Nate as a new vendor this season and encourage everyone to stop by, say hello, and watch his amazing creations come to life.
