Our new market home at Idaho Botanical Garden is getting some final preparations for opening of Winter Market on November 7th, 2026! 👏

The market’s classic wooden fence utilized in past years is back in action, providing direction for customers and a clear outline of our new market footprint.

A massive thank you to True Roots Farms and Meadowlark Farm for dedicating time out of your busy schedules to help us get the fence constructed. We couldn’t do what we do without our incredible community of vendors 💚🧡

We are so excited to welcome the community to the new space in just a couple of weeks. We will see you on November 7th for our grand opening at the garden!

This Saturday October 24th, join the Boise Farmers Market for our third annual Happy Harvest FREE event! Pumpkins, pictures, plenty of fun, and all that produce and protein to purchase!

Enjoy FREE pumpkins from Sun-Dog Flower Farm, FREE polaroids from our Sprouts Kids Club, a costume contest and parade, as well free kids activities from: Peace Valley Charter School, Ada County Soil & Water Conservation District, Together Outdoor Education, and Boise Urban Garden School.

The fun begins at 9am.
Costume contest and parade starts at 10am near the blue truck.
Pumpkins are first come, first served. We limit 1 per person and may ask some families to limit to 4 total.

Enjoy the bounty of Harvest and abundance of the Market! The event activities run from 9am-Noon, while the Market will remain open as normal, 9am-1pm.

🧡Join Peace Valley at BFM’s Sprouts Kids Club this Saturday, October 17th, for a fun, hands-on craft! We’ll be making Ojos de Dios, colorful woven creations made with yarn and sticks. It’s a wonderful way for kids to explore color, pattern, and creativity. We hope to see you there!

This Saturday, Chef Adan Callsen of Under The Table Boise is back at the market for the FINAL Shop with a Chef in the 2026 Summer Market season!

This month’s theme is “Soup Season”. Shop the market with Adan, meeting vendors and getting local ingredients to make a delicious seasonal soup. Adan will give a live cooking demonstration, and give participants a sample of the prepared meal! Take home a market tote, a recipe card, and a memorable market experience.

🧡🍁This weekend, celebrate fall at Sprouts Kids Club! Many trees are slowly beginning to drop their leaves. Join BUGS as we explore leaf pigments through chromatography and make a fun craft with the leaves! Kids can grab some leaves (or use what BUGS has brought) to glue onto paper and create their very own leaf person. We will also provide markets, googly eyes, and other accessories to make fun fall-themed leaf people.

🛒It is the first Saturday of the month which means it is time for Grocery Giveaway! We will have 25 bags of groceries packed and ready to hand out starting at 9am. Over the past weekend, the Boise Farmers Market held our annual Harvest Moon Dinner at Sun-Dog Farm. Supporters of the market gathered to share delectable flavors of local, inspiring conversations around the importance of local food and the people making it happen.

We are beyond grateful for the support of our community, our staff and volunteers, the talented chefs who gave time and created artistic courses for everyone to enjoy, to the donors who supported our silent auction, We have immense gratitude for every single person who made this event possible.

Hosted by Chef Adan Callsen of Under The Table Boise, and in collaboration with our Sprouts Kids Club, kiddos and their favorite grown-up will enjoy a market tour and live cooking demonstration, taking home a recipe card, a tote, and a memorable experience!

You will learn together how to shop the Farmers Market and cook delicious fresh ingredients, focusing on special “Back to School” snack recipes! Please note this class is designed for kids 5 years and older to be accompanied with a supervising adult at all times.
