There isnt one single person in the Belding community that Pete McGowan didn't touch in some way. His sense of humor, enthusiasm and all around good nature was known by all. Early on in our market, when things were still getting off the ground, Pete came to me and said "How can I help?" I learned the devastating news today that Pete has gone to heaven. Please pray for his wife, young son, brother, mom and all those who loved him. Until we meet again. Rest in peace, friend. MarketMaster Jenny

Wow what a day! With roughly 75 amazing vendors and an incredible turnout from the community, this winter’s Bazaar was truly something special. We saw people laughing, sharing stories, children dancing, and neighbors coming together to celebrate creativity and a great community event something that’s far too rare in Belding.

While we were thrilled to bring the Bazaar back this winter, we have no future dates scheduled at this time, summer or winter. Think of this as a one-time comeback… at least for now. After nine wonderful seasons, our last Bazaar was nearly two years ago, and while we may pop up again someday, it takes way to much planning and energy for us to do this monthly or yearly anymore.

Most of all, we just want to say thank you.
We couldn’t have done any of this without our incredible vendors, our loyal customers, and our dedicated team of volunteers who made this event possible.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this crazy dream of ours.

Well, everything is ready for tomorrow morning's market. Come experience The Belding Beatnik Bazaar . We do things differently. Free admission. Ample parking. Food, fun & shopping. Lots and lots of shopping. Inside lounge area for you to take a break, eat some great food from one of our many food vendors. Shopping local and meeting the vendors personally is so incredibly satisfying. Market is open from 9 to 1 at Woodview Elementary. Bonus: The sun is supposed to be shining too ! See you soon !

Good Evening Vendors ! We are finalizing last minute details for Saturday morning's market. For those of you who have not attended our indoor market as a vendor, here is what you need to know:
Address: 450 Orchard Street Belding -Woodview Elementary

Set up: begins at 7am and runs until 8:30. We want everyone set up and ready to go when the doors open for customers at 9am.
Staff will meet you at the entrance and direct you to your space. We will have vendors in the gymnasium as well as the hallway that circles around both entrances to the gymnasium. There are no bad spots ! Please do not argue or refuse to cooperate with our volunteer staff. We have a method to our set up. We promise you will all have equal visibility to customers. Any special requests such as access to electricity have been noted. You must have all tables, chairs and display racks etc to set up your own booth. We will NOT have any available on market day.

Parking: Please do NOT try to pull up to the entrance for loading and unloading. There is an ample parking lot to fit all of your vehicles. We do ask that once you have completed unloaded your items to please move your vehicles to the front parking lot so that our main parking lot is open for customers.

You are allowed to bring your own snacks/drinks if you prefer. Many food vendors will attend our market and would love to have you as customers.

Wifi: Guest wifi will be available.

OPENING PROGRAM: We will ask all those who are able to please stand for the playing of our National Anthem at 9 o clock sharp. Immediately following will be presentation of checks to our selected charities.

Market hours: 9am to 1pm. Please no early tear downs as this seriously disrupts customer flow to the remaining booths.

How cool is it that the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services likes to be a part of our market! They have kindly donated shopping bags that we will be giving out to the first 500 customers on Saturday. Shop with a heart. Shop local. See you soon everyone! Marketmaster Jenny
