Big things are happening out in Adamsville. Burro Malo Farm is closing down ending a great 16 year run of offering local grown produce to central Texas.

Thanks to Dylan who has farmed with us through most of that time. Shout out to Betsy who has picked up every task at the farm.

The farm is up for sale. If you've ever wanted to small scale veggie farm on an historically registered farm with a built in customer base here's your chance.

Thanks to all of our dear customers!! Dylan and I really like feeding people and you have made it all possible. We've had success with the farmstand in Adamsville, CSA delivery to Copperas Cove, Bertram, Kempner, Ft Hood, Lampasas, Oakalla and Evant , market days in Llano, Burnet and Marble Falls. Thank you all for supporting our dreams.

Please continue your support of our local producers. We teamed up with Bison Cove, Grammy's Goodies, Haro Cheese and Foundations Farm for our delivery services. All these producers are still here and thriving. Don't forget about them. Local producers provide the life lines for our small communities.

We dropped off goodies to the Lampasas Cares Food Pantry from the farm today. Please consider helping keep the pantries filled for those struggling to feed their families.

We are off this Wednesday, taking a break from deliveries to Cove and Phoenix Botanicals. I'm going to be off grid for a week, white water rafting down the Rouge River. See you the following week for deliveries.

So we were asked to create a wish list for the fire dept on Amazon. Our list is being created and will be completed tomorrow but there are things on the list now. Here is a screen shot of the name. Our treasurer created the list.

Well it's almost that time of year. For those of you that have been with us over the years, you know we close down deliveries for the month of September. It gives us a break and gives the field some rest.

The farm stand in Adamsville will stay open during September. You can stop by to pick up eggs, the last of the season's veggies, and maybe even some figs.

Dylan and I will be back in October to plant for winter.
