It's getting busy in Highworth! It's the Highworth Jazz Festival today so come along for some great sounds - tickets are available to buy online or from the Visit Highworth centre in the high street. The Highworth May Day Celebrations are under way! Hooray!!! We have a stall set up outside our shop, with lots of delicious delights to buy, including homemade sausage plaits, scotch eggs, pasties, quiches, pies, bread pudding, sourdough bread, doughnuts, Ciabatta rolls plus lots more. Don't forget, it's the annual Highworth May Day Celebrations this Saturday! We are open for food and drink throughout the day - delicious homemade and local produce such as sourdough bread, doughnuts, sausage rolls, scotch eggs, cheeses, freshly made sandwiches, panini's, salads, cakes, coffee & tea, soft drinks, ice cream, plus lots more... Cook/Sandwich Maker/Kitchen Assistant – Shrivenham

Part-time (3 days per week 7:30am – 4pm plus 2 Saturdays a month)

Bloomfields are looking for an experienced and motivated Cook/Sandwich Maker to join the very busy kitchen team at our Shrivenham Delicatessen and Coffee Shop.

You will prepare and make freshly filled sandwiches, baguettes, wraps, paninis, salads, soups and breakfasts to order. Also prepare and make homemade products such as quiches, sausage rolls and other savouries.

You must have at least two years professional kitchen/cooking experience and an ability to work under pressure, plus be hardworking, reliable, creative and customer focused with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Experience of ordering and stock control is also required, as is ensuring that the kitchen and catering areas are kept to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness, and that all statutory regulations including health and safety and hygiene requirements are upheld.

This post includes a Saturday shift.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.75 per hour
