Valley Custom Cutting is a butcher shop and Free-Standing Meat Plant in Smiths Falls. Valley has a fantastic team of skilled butchers, packers and retail staff help who help bring you the highest quality, local and Canadian meats. VAlley is a different model then a traditional butcher shop. There is a beautifully appointed butcher shop in the front which offers a fresh meat counter providing custom cuts of Local and Canadian meats to walk in customers. As well as the self serve Freezer Section with the option for larger custom freezer orders. A Free Standing Meat Plant is located behind the scenes which offers custom meat cutting, packaging and additional services (sausage making, labeling, pricing) to local meat producers. Valley works with multiple surrounding abattoirs in order to facilitate the transportation of product to the plant for processing. All products for both the Butcher Shop and the Producers are processed in the new state of the art cutting facility, featuring new coolers and freezers, modern equipment, and staffed by skilled and qualified butchers and packers. VCC has attained its Free Standing Meat Plant License and is inspected by (OMAFRA) as well as the Public Health Unit. The entire facility has been professionally designed to maximize efficiency, organization, sanitation and aesthetics.

We are officially entering the HEAVIEST part of our entire year... Hunting Season. While you may or may not be a hunter this post is important.
The Store front operates a little differently for the next few weeks. After 11am each day the cutting room is only open for Hunted Game Processing. Which means ALL STORE INVENTORY needs to be cut and prepared before 11am each day.

This is where we need your help. If you need a custom order or a larger order or bone in cuts (T-bones, pork chops etc.) PLEASE call or email it in before 10 am for same day pickup. The cutting room won't be able to be used for store inventory after 11am. We will have prepped all regular store items before we switch to Game processing, so it functions like usual.

Please make sure that you are giving us all some grace in here while we work insanely long and physically demanding days for the next few weeks. We will see you on the flip side, when it's almost Christmas!
