Lawn mowing reinforcements have arrived!

First stop the parking lot! Did you know our parking lot is actually sheep pasture? Until they are done mowing it we will be having visitors/customers park by the sales centre.

Open today Saturday June 13th from 11-6.

Friday June 12th, enjoy your day!

We had the opportunity to mow the orchard right before we got all the rain, just over 3 inches in 4 days, the plants and animals are all doing really well despite the muddy spot here or there.

Appreciative of the moisture we have received as it has certainly put a "damper" on fires.

We will have a few nice days again to get everything mowed one more time and we have some help coming to do their part in keeping things trimmed up over the summer months. Once they have arrived, we will be sure to post some pics of them hard at work. 😉

The chickens have been doing their part in the orchard, mowing and fertilizing and producing amazing eggs.

Our rhubarb is gigantic again this year, if anyone is looking to stock their freezer up, we have it available for purchase, fresh picked when you ask for it.

Come on out, enjoy the country air, and pick up any of our products that you need.

Pastured raised eggs.
Grass fed Lamb, cut and wrapped.
Frozen Saskatoon Berries.
Frozen ready to bake Saskatoon Crumble.
Saskatoon preserves.
Meat chickens are busily growing and will be ready for the beginning of July and we will also have a batch ready for the beginning of September.

Even the meat birds are having a great time running around with the nice change in the weather. They don't even mind the breeze ruffling their feathers.

Still working on getting the rest of the garden in but it will get done.

What a week!

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Raising Healthy Chickens Outdoors Workshop put on by The weather wasn't great but those in attendance had fantastic questions!

Everything is greening up so nicely, who else has plans to mow their lawn this weekend?

The chickens definitely mow their fair share but we still have to maintain other areas of our property.

We are OPEN this weekend. Friday May 22nd and Saturday May 23rd from 11-6 each day.

Come on out for a drive, take a walk around the orchard to see the chicken tractors and all the leading out in the Saskatoon bushes. So Pretty!

We have pasture raised eggs available, lamb(frozen, cut and wrapped), Saskatoon berries, Saskatoon preserves, Saskatoon crumble(frozen ready to bake).
