Meet Shaw’s Ice Cream • St. Thomas roots, made in Tillsonburg

A small-town favourite since 1948—with three sisters helping write its next chapter. ❤️

Founded by Carl Shaw in St. Thomas, **Shaw’s Ice Cream** has been part of Southwestern Ontario’s sweet traditions for generations.

When the business faced closure, sisters **Kim, Kelly and Kristine McLaughlin** purchased it in 2001. They rolled up their sleeves to keep it going—Kim even earned her truck driver’s licence to deliver the ice cream herself!

Today, Shaw’s makes its ice cream in Tillsonburg, continuing its tradition of using **100% Canadian dairy** and creating flavours worth gathering around.
