The days are getting shorter, the leaves are almost gone, and winter isn’t too far away.

But there’s still something pretty special about spending an evening around the fire.

A few good smokies, some friends or family, and nowhere you need to rush off to.

Whatever your weekend looks like, we hope you find a little time to enjoy it.

And if you still need some provisions, stop by the shop. We’d be happy to help.

Have a great weekend out there!

Congratulations to all the winners of this year’s Diamonds and Denim Business Awards of Excellence! 👏

It’s pretty inspiring to see how many great people and businesses we have right here in Ponoka.

People who put their hearts into what they do, inspire others, and are passionate about the products and services they provide in our hometown.

We’re really lucky to be part of such a great community!

And a big thank you to the Ponoka & District Chamber of Commerce for bringing everyone together and celebrating the people behind our local businesses.

Thank you, Ponoka! ❤️

A massive congratulations to all our winners and also to the finalists for this year's Diamonds and Denim Business Awards of Excellence. There's much to come and we're grateful to everyone for their involvement. Thank you!

Some moments deserve a really good steak. 🥩🔥

That’s what our Summit Selections are all about.

Whether it’s a nice dinner with someone special, having friends over, celebrating something, or just enjoying a good steak around the fire.

😊 And what makes these steaks even more special to us? All our beef is raised and grain-finished on our own farm right here in Ponoka.

From tenderloin and T-bone to prime rib and quite a few more, we’ve got some beautiful cuts waiting for you.

🥩 And behind every steak is a lot of work from our team. Kyle and the guys put a lot of care into preparing these cuts, and I think it shows! 🥩

So next time you’ve got something special planned, stop by, have a look, and let us help you find the right steak.

And sometimes, a good steak is reason enough to make an occasion out of it.

And at the end… one of my favourites. Our pastrami! 😋

Some provisions are just made to come along. 🥩🏔️

We packed some of our Ho**er & Brown beef jerky and headed into the mountains.

Light to carry, easy to share, and pretty good when you stop for a break and take in the view.

Of course, you don’t need mountains to enjoy it. A road trip, a day at work, a walk with the dog, or just something to snack on along the way.

Whatever your plans are, it’s always good to have a few provisions along.

Stop by and grab some for your next journey.

A Few Thoughts on the Year Ahead:

We just went through all your lovely comments and messages. 🥰

Wow. Thank you, everyone!

We hope we haven’t missed anyone. There were so many kind words, and we really appreciate every single one of them.

We’re closed today for Thanksgiving, but tomorrow we’re back at it, starting our second year of Ho**er & Brown!

And you know what we’d really like for year two?

To keep crossing trails with you. Hopefully quite often!

Whether you’re stopping by for some Basecamp Basics for an everyday supper, feel like trying something different from our Explorer’s Choice, or need something special from our Summit Selections for a moment worth celebrating.

That’s what we’d love Ho**er & Brown to be: your place to gather provisions for whatever you’ve got planned.

So, from all of us, thank you for an incredible first year.

We’re looking forward to seeing you again soon. And hopefully being a little part of whatever your next journey looks like.

See you tomorrow! 🥩🏕️🏔️

Quick heads-up:

We like our knives sharp. Our videos? Apparently not so much. 😅

Somehow, they turned out a little blurry.

Could we record them again? Sure. But then they wouldn’t be the same.

So here they are, exactly as they happened.

Learn, improve, keep going!

Congratulations to our lucky winners! 🎉 And to all of you: Thanks for being part of our journey! 🥩🏕️🏔️
