June 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day. In recognition of our continued occupation of traditional, unceded Syilx Okanagan territory, we will honour this day by donating 10% of Saturday's sales (not profits!) to the Ooknakane Friendship Centre.

We have so many different plastic-free brushes, but how should you know which ones to choose? 😱
Let’s get into it!

Tampico bristles are a medium strength option and are usually straw-coloured.
They feature on our dry body brushes, nail brushes, kitchen/bottle brushes, and shower/tub scrubbers, as well as our vegan beard brushes.
Our veggie brushes have a combination of union fibre and tampico bristles for the best of both worlds.

Union fibre is the toughest option.
Our pot brushes, toilet brushes, and heavy-duty scrubber brushes utilise these.
These are the ones pictured above!

Boar or horse hair bristles can be found on our favourite indoor broom heads and handheld indoor brooms, our beard brush, and our shoe/clothes brush.
Our adorable hedgehog table brushes also feature boar hair bristles.

We even have outdoor broom heads and handheld brushes with coconut fibre bristles, which are perfect for rougher sweeping jobs.

Let’s sneak one more in: our face brushes are made with the softest wool bristles, for a very gentle exfoliation!

New in our fridge; vegan kimchi made in Vancouver!

Ms Lee’s Natural Foods’s recipe, perfected over 30 years, is a mix of modern and traditional ingredients and techniques that are locally sourced and offer a delicious way to be more gut-friendly.

Our compost is picked up by Spa Hills Compost in Salmon Arm, so you can collect organic waste such as veggie scraps, meat/bones, dairy/bread, bioplastics like those coffee cups or compost bags, and soiled paper/cardboard 🥳

We also have free reused buckets, to make it easier for you!
You can bag the compost or collect it loose in the container.
